I think having both aircraft manufacturers is a good thing for everyone and Air France I'm sure agrees as they have a huge fleet of Boeing 777-787s.

Funny I also smiled looking at their presentations and no they're no actors, all the people from Airbus who really opened their doors to welcome us and we're extremely thankful for them and Air France!

This is the guy “checking for leaks” and inspecting the tires/brakes? Is this fella an aircraft engineer? No. A mechanic? No. The walk around they’re required to do is worthless Do you realize that these airplanes burn 1000 gallons of fuel per hour? For all you that drive Teslas and frown on me for driving a tractor… 😂

Air Traffic Control kept them low because this was a morning departure and the area was filled with Westbound traffic at higher altitudes

On an old Flight Training Control Manual for Airbus, they wrote : "If taxing out with one engine shutdown [for fuel savings] : It is recommended to retain the use of engine 1 during taxi to maintain the green hydraulic system for normal braking and NWS (Nose Wheel Sterring)" and indeed at 7:55 we can see they already taxiing with only one engine operating.
