Try 225. I bake my quick breads on 250 in a regular oven and find that they are so much better than higher temperatures. 225 in an air fryer would be equivilent to 250. (same rules as convection oven). What happens is the sides and center end up heating more evenly at the same pace, so the top is just slightly domed and it is more evenly baked,... doesn't crack, and you get a more dense, less dried out, delectable quick bread. I'm 68 and bought my first recipe magazine when I was 16 from the grocery store. It was Southern Living and there was an amazing banana bread recipe in it that said to bake on 250. Of course it will take longer and you'll have to be the judge of when it's done. I promise it's worth the extra time :) Thanks for the recipe! I will try on 225 and report back if I remember! :)
I tried cooking the whole batch in one pan, had trouble getting the center cooked all the way through. What was cooked tasted great though. I would would recommend breaking it up into two smaller loaf pans. I used the "Bake" feature instead of "Air Fry" also. I will used the "Air Fry" next time too. I look forward to making this again. Thank you. Instant Pot Vortex 6 Quart
Thank you. I cooked this in mini loaves in my 14qt air fryer. They are so yummy 😋. Eddit; I add a half cup brown sugar and 1 extra banana. I didn't sub any other ingredients. 320 degrees ferenhiet For 40 mins. Perfect. Thank you so much.
One of the best videos for banana bread via an air fryer . Simple yet thorough . You covered all the bases and your add on ( nuts ) was spot on . It’s obvious your a very good cook and your family I’m sure would amen to your cooking skills . Thanks for the video !
Lucky Jim gets all the goodies he picked the right gal . ha ha Thanks for video love my air fryer never cooked a cake in my 70 years bout time I had a go I think .
You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Yummy, yum! Doing the air fryer way. Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!
I plan to make this later today or tomorrow when I get some foil pans. I thought I could get a regular loaf pan in there but it was too big. I have another recipe to make it in instant pot and it says you can use 3 tsps of baking powder in lieu of the baking soda. Just wondered if you had heard of that. I did look and find 1 box that is still in date but it is open and in a zip up bag so wondered if it would still be ok. Thank you so much.
I baked mine for minutes 35 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 65, and it still was too wet in the bottom - I did the same as you, but used a Ninja dual - what do I do wrong ??
Wow, banana bread in the air fryer and looks soooooo good too. With summer here, the air fryer is on and this will be just the ticket. Your hubby sounded like he loved it too. Nice moist. Thanks so much Kelly for a great video tutorial and recipe... Hugs. Claudia

Hi Kelly , how you doin girl ? Well , you just hit me with your best shot with this recipe ! I love love love me some good banana bread , looks so simple to make too. Plus Jim gave his taste of approval on this recipe. Yup , the way to a man's heart is his banana bread before you can even hope to make his banana rise, lol Glad to see you're doing well Kelly and have yourself a major league week ahead..... !!!
Oh, Phil, I'm not touching that one😂 🤣I'm doing good. I'm happy that it has steadily warmed up, but that wind could ease up a bit. But I'm not complaining😉 I hope you have a fantastic week and stay well!🤗
I loved it so much! But I’m worried that is a lot of sugar, have you tried it with less than a cup? I want to do it again using half, but I’m worried it will taste awful. Thanks for the recipe!!
My pleasure and thank you Jess! Honesty, I'm not sure how this recipe would turn out with less sugar. I have tried it with white bread and it turned out just fine. I would give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised😉
