I knew I should have got some okra while I was at the store today I was looking at them too but changed my mind. Well it looks like I'm going back to the store in the morning.
Those look just like the ones my Mama made when I was growing up too! Thank you so much for posting this. It's just what I was looking for - another great reason to use my air fryer and a healthier way to enjoy a family favorite!! 💜💜💜
Just got a new air-fryer for X-mas! It's a Gourmia. I have okra it will be the maiden voyage!!!!!!!!! Also have salmon patties gonna do afterwards. TY for the video!
Good for you Kelly! You will love your Cosori Air Fryer. I love mine. Wouldn't part with it for anything!!! This is great that you have this recipe now. My husband loves fried okra but hasn't had it in a long time because I don't do fried okra. LOL! After 41 years of marriage I decided he was worth the effort. :-) I already have a bag of cut frozen okra. I will probably be doing this tomorrow. Thank you so much!
Hahaha. I can relate to that. There are certain things I refuse to make as well😁 I hope your husband enjoys the okra! I'm really loving the Cosori so far. I should have made the switch sooner. But, I'm known to procrastinate on certain things, lol....Enjoy the rest of your week and stay safe!
We love our Casori! We've been using it every day for a couple of months to make meals and snacks and it's fantastic. I've never had okra and not sure what it tastes like, but it looks good.
Thank you, Ebba Lytle! I'm really loving the Cosori too! I like the shake reminder since I seem to space that off from time to time, lol. I really don't know how to describe okra or what I could compare it to. It is mild in flavor. What I do know for sure is that it's delicious!😋
Thank you so much for this recipe! I modified to fit WFPB lifestyle. I used cornmeal and cornstarch. I soaked it in a plant based milk, It's going now, so we will see! :)
Jack Paynes Food Pains that is such a good bit of advice. I wish I’d known that when I bought my 2 Uten Air Fryers. On the one hand they are great, large capacity, 1800 watts really crisp up the chicken skin. On the other hand, the downside, they are 1 piece. What makes it worse is there are slots all the way down the sides to 1/4 ins from bottom. Fat too easily spills out and in fact the instructions tell you not to cook anything high fat. Examples they give are sausages and chicken . Just the two things I like the most.
@@moretimeneeded56 You are so right. Say you are cooking chicken wings. Some like to shake the basket after cooking like half way. If you do that with a 1 piece drawer any grease that has came out of the wings will splash out. What a mess.
I didn't realize there were air fryers out there where you can't detach the basket! Who ever came up with that idea should be fired, LOL. Like More Time Needed said, "Good advice"!
My my , our tastes are sooo similar, fried okra is hands down my fav veggie ( well after potatoes , broccoli, corn on the cob, ect ect 😁) ! Wow , you've moved up in the world of air fryers ! Give us a 90 day review of this Cosori , I luv my Ninja , but at only 4 Qt , I think I really do need a larger unit . Thanks Kelly , always makes my day when I see a notifcation from your channel !!!
Hehehe. Thank you Tracy! So far I'm loving the Cosori! I have heard nothing but good reviews on it. It's the same wattage (1700) as my Cooks Essentials. So, no figuring out new cooking times.😉 I hope you have a wonderful week and stay safe, my friend!
I got an impression that you were doing a commercial for some Kosher salt. It is not necessary that the salt be Kosher, you know. Yesh Prabhu, Bushkill, Pennsylvania
I still have it. I thought it was time to try something different.🙂 Do you have a CE? The Cosori is the same wattage as the CE, so the cooking times will be pretty much the same.
