For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

Used to make kale chips without oil. I used soy sauce instead of salt to season, so the powdered flavourings actually stick. Also i sliced the stalks of the kale into thin slithers. They’re perfectly edible, especially when roasted. Just don’t have big chunks of it :).
I've been meaning to make falafels in my air fryer, this was a good reminder. So far I've mostly used it to heat up frozen veg meats like vegan chicken tenders or vegan fish fillets. I also use it to quickly cook tofu. The most exciting thing I've done is make some vegan crab cakes that turned out so much better in the air fryer than they did in the oven.

For Kale chips I love to blend up some soaked nuts (i use cashews) some nooch and seasonings (garlic powder, lots of that and onion powder) blend the hell outta that till smooth and toss kale in it. And then cook. At the resturaunt we used a dehydrator because they were raw vegan recipies. But i prefer the oven or airfryer method
Okay so I made the cauliflower today and WOW! It was amazing, I ended up adding the Franks sauce to my cauliflower and then putting them back in the air fryer for just a few minutes, they were incredible. Please do more air fryer recipes! :)
First recipe is very similar to some of vegetarian Indo Chinese starters that are usually consumed in India.. But videos will often show flash fry techniques.❤

I absolutely love making air fried onion rings the same lazy method as the cauliflower wings 😍 thank air fryers for allowing us to eat stuff that tastes like junk food but isn't 🤤
yogibear1023 the way I do it is to use 2 freezer bags. Put the sauce/batter in one bag, stick the cauliflower or whatever in it and shake. Put the breadcrumbs or coating in the other, transfer the cauliflower and shake. Everything gets evenly coated, hands stay clean and if you're super lazy, you can just throw them bags away...
