I just got an air fryer and any time I need to know how to cook something, I look for you! Thank you!! even though I have a different type of air fryer, your recipes always work and are good.
Thanks Melanie! Tried this today and it came out perfect. I must say your videos are very precise, keeping all the instructions to the point. I have been referring to your videos since I bought air fryer. Keep up the good work! 🙂
@@MelanieCooksRecipes what a click bait though. On your thumbnail they’re golden brown all around hardly any white is showing. On the video there’s hardly any golden brown. Why do you get your pics off the internet
@@troops187 they are golden-brown on the video! The thumbnail pic is from a different batch that I made for my website photos: www.melaniecooks.com/air-fryer-zucchini-fries/20782/ The pictures are mine and the site is mine :)
I have a different air fryer but your videos are answering all my questions. Thank you so much. I was feeling kind of stressed about the air fryer but not any more.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. At last, after much searching, a superb, straight forward, no messing, no prima-donna presentation on making zucchini fries. Liked, subbed and rang your bell. I'm now off to browse your channel.
I just got my air fryer and first time cooking tonight was chicken thighs. I'm a former chef and I'm so excited about this thing. My baked chicken thighs came out just as if I'd put them in the oven on a rack. I am doing zucchini fries next.
I had one small zucchini and one yellow squash. My fryer automatically preheats. I did flip them over. I cooked mine at 400degrees for 12 minutes. It was turned out great.
My first time cooking Zucchini, it was very delicious. I put some beacon bits on the next batch very good. Amish has Zucchini right now, like 2 for 50 cents. Thank You.
Thanks Melanie! Wonderful easy instructions! I already have all the ingredients in my apartment. This is going to make a great summer side dish tonight!
Back at ur channel, for u Melanie, r the woman who inspired me to take that airfryer "I JUST NEEDED" out of the box, going on almost 3 weeks after purchase, lol and for that I SINCERELY thank u!!! Can't wait to make these bad~boys in a few!😋
Something that might help you is to get a slightly damp and towel and put it under your cutting board so it doesn’t move all over the place. The recipe looks good though.
these really are good even minus the cheese, something about the outer edges being crisp like a potato getting a toasted flavor while the inside stays fluffy and the right amount of chew before its mush if its cooked just 4 minutes longer than this. I'd even lessen up the oil because it just gets firmer the drier and nuttier it gets with the roasted burnt. I think I could persuade a house hold of similar framed dudes or larger to not go on a food run if I told them I could make them feel full and not even think of spending $7-$12 if we went to a fast food place and instead I just air fried 1 entire zucchini per person and served it in this way with little spray oil and fresh grinds of salt and pepper. I didn't think I'd like something this simple but air frying without utterly disintegrating the texture is a new flavor and texture only unlocked by this recent cooking technology
OH! HERES A GREAT TIP FOR U AMD TO ALL WHO STRUGGLE W THIS...When using a cutting board, put either a couple of rubber~bands under it, OR a paper~towel or regular towel (BOTH DAMP!) to.prevent it from.sliding about 😉 ~Ur welcome👍
Lovely video and recipe. Thank you. Only change I'd make would be to use fresh finely grated parmesan (not that stuff!) And a little fresh lemon juice added to the oil. Num num! :)
Sorry they didn't turn out crispy for you. Drying with paper towel after cutting will definitely help to make them crispier! I'm just lazy and they are crispy enough for my taste without this added step 😀 Good luck!
Thank you for this recipe. Just got a ninja foodie pressure cooker and air fryer. The recipe from the book that came with my machine resulted in soggy zucchinis because the breading didn’t stick. Can’t wait to try this!
Can't wait to try this. I may go to the store right now and get some zucchini. Mine were good, but yours looked much better. Mine were sort of too "mushy", but were good.
In Greece there’s a flower like where zucchini blooms from, we dip in beer batter & fry that up , it so yummy, I still yet to find this to make in the states lol
I was just going make them, but they ended up being partly frozen in my fridge. I read somewhere that they will turn to mush. Bummer. I really wanted to try this.
Happy New Year to you too! It's ok to use olive oil at high temps as far as I know: www.realsimple.com/food-recipes/cooking-tips-techniques/olive-oil-smoke-point-myth
Every other zucchini air fryer recipe I have seen tells you to salt the zucchini and let them sit for 10 minutes to get rid of excess moisture also if you were going to have a healthy zucchini fries that’s a lot of olive oil to add
Not for me - I think Americans are addicted to salt. Too much salt is bad for your kidneys over time & your blood pressure also. But, if you're young, have at it.
You are welcome, Stephanie!
