Good morning! After you've watched this video, don't forget to check out all the other zucchini recipes on my website. I've got tons of ways for you to enjoy this beautiful, seasonal veggie. And the double chocolate zucchini bread just might be my favorite. ;) What about you? What's your favorite zucchini recipe? xo - Lisa
@@marciasmith5024 it is a produce bag I believe. the kind of reusable bag you can purchase on Amazon. she has tons of cool things on her website and she links everything she uses..she is awesome for reference!

My whole family, even the picky guys, loved these. Sweating the shredded zucchini and getting as much water extracted is the key to success with these crispy fritters. Great recipe ❤
I was a bit fed up with zucchini spaghettis so I needed another recipe with zucchini that is super healthy. This video is what I really need for. Thank you so much 💙
Thank you so much for all of your videos! They’re concise, yet have enough detail in them, and it’s the perfect volume of music in the background. I’m so happy that all of your recipes are gluten free and how you give a variety of options and different ways to make the recipe. All of your work is much appreciated 😊
I made this tonight and holy crap it was so good! My husband and I ate the entire batch (with a salad of course). Instead of goats cheese we used feta instead and it was great! Will definitely be making again!
I have never been so ready to cook than today and I don’t even have a grater. I was never those that grew up loving veggies but a little long time time ago I started liking them and now I love it. Not really a vegen person but it’s been months I ate meat or chicken. I can honestly tell you there is a difference. I used to stress myself with groceries specifically if you are Muslim. We can’t just eat everything and now I feel relaxed. I appreciate this page or all green people ☺️♥️
Thank you for this recipe. Being diabetic, I am always looking for keto recipes. Been eating this way since Jan 2019 and have greatly improved my health, kept my A1C in the low fives, and lost and kept off 40 lbs!
This morning I made these for my family. We have so many zucchini from our garden that I wanted to try something different. My big zucchini made 15 fritters that I cooked 4 at a time for 6 minutes on each side in a med-low cast iron skillet. They browned beautifully and cooked inside. Before I finished my last batch of 3 fritters, my son and daughter-in-law ate the first 12, mmmm'g with practically every bite! They have decided that Lisa's yogurt sauce will also be perfect for veggies dip during the holidays. Thank you Lisa! You made our Sunday morning brunch a refreshing and special moment :-)
I made this recipe two weekends in a row both times without cheese. The family loved it. First time I used almond flour. Second time I used rice flour and I added mushrooms. Delicious
Lan Pham one side has the fronds and the other usually has a slightly fibrous pointy bit. I always top and tail carrots. Unless they’re a baby carrots or chantenay (wrong spelling I’m sure). It’s how my tutor taught us at college. Good enough for me😀
I harvested a 5 pound zucchini today and made your recipe with parmesan and pecorino instead of feta. It was delicious! Whole family loved it. Thank you so much
hey ,if anyone else is searching for paleo recipes try Elumpa Paleo Eating Alchemist (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got cool results with it.
I gave this a try because I had leftover shredded zucchini from making zucchini bread. I did use onion & garlic powder & regular flour just to give it a try. I cooked them in my George Foreman grill for 3 mins. They turned out perfect & I didn’t have to flip them over. Thanks for the delicious recipe. Tip: I also make salmon patties on the George Foreman so I don’t have to try & flip them over. They always turn out great.
I am obsessed with your videos, I don’t know why I didn’t find you sooner!!!!so many ideas that I will put to use, as I mentioned in another comment I had total hysterectomy on February 24 (my birthday) and I had to rest for 12 weeks, so I gained some weight and now I am trying to get back on my road to a healthier me, so your videos will helps me achieve that, so thank you so much.
I want to put my hands through my screen and reach out to the plate to grab the fritters and swallow them 😂..and yeah i love yogurt as the topping because for me yogurt/tzatziki/Raita goes with everything!! Slurp Slurp Also zucchini is one of my fav vegetables 🥰
This fritters remind me a very popular dish in Turkish kitchen which is called ‘mücver’. It’s a pretty easy vegetarian dish. Like this fritters, grated zucchini is mixed with eggs, plain flour, chives, dill and parsley. Seasoned with salt, black pepper and paprika. I like to add some thyme too. Then fry the mix just like you did for this fritter or bake in the oven. ( if i bake them i would add some cheese too.) Mmm yum. 😋😋😋
Ok, so I found these and they are absolutely delicious!! Thank you!! I also saved the juice… added water, lime juice, honey and some ice cubes and had an amazing drink!
A little tip I use is to not cut off the top but cut a little off the bottom. Then shredd zucchini up to the top stem that way you have a small handle to hold on to if using a box grater
1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣% AGREED 👍 ‼️ Have 6 in the frig right now. I make zucchini stew. Ground beef, Italian sauce, add sautéed onion, garlic. Cube zucchini and put into pot. Use low to medium high heat. Yum❗️Don’t forget the grated parm/reggiano cheese on top.
Instead of using almond flour I used mashed potatoes. I used garlic, coriander, zucchini, eggs, green chillies, rice flour, salt and pepper. Gluten free. Spicy and delicious.
This looks soooooo delicious 🤤 can't wait to try it! Lovely recipe as usual Lisa, thank you! P.S- do you have a cookbook? I'd love to get one if you do
I Love Love Love your recipes, especially the idea of meal prep which makes my life much easier during the week. So when I made the zucchini fritters the 2nd time I added a mixture of flaxseed flour, coconut flour and almond flour and they are DELICIOUS. Thanks for your channel.
I have been making my own version fo these for years that's almost the same as this (I like to sprinkle in some pepper flakes for a bit of zing) these are delish and a great substitute for that "side of toast" with breakfast.
You can substitute kefir cheese with the added herbs instead of yogurt and it’s EXTREMELY high in probiotics and absolutely delicious! Gonna try this recipe thank you!
i tried it without draining the water and i thought i ruined it .. but then i refrigerated the mixture overnight and the barter was then ok.. i loved it .. i crave for fried food but due to health concerns i was avoiding it .. but this recipe lit me up like a light bulb .. tnk u
I have been a fan of this video since the beginning; and also been making these fritters since as well. DELICIOUS, since juicing now I try to incorporate zucchini to juice because it leaves me with the dry meat, this helps me to avoid having to add salt to pull water out!!!
This looks so yummy! Great camping recipe too. I recently made your Spiralized Beet Frittata from your cookbook. Oh my goodness not only was it pretty to look at it was delicious!
I make something very similar that was my Italian grandmas recipe. She would add breadcrumbs and I’ve recently wondered how it would come out using either almond or coconut flour instead... and here you are! 🙂. I’ve been trying to eat clean ingredients and recently threw out my name brand breadcrumbs because the ingredient list horrified me 😩. I look forward to trying the recipe with almond and/or coconut flour. Thanks for the great idea; and your recipe looks delicious! If you haven’t tried refrigerating these and then eating them cold straight out of the fridge it brings them to a whole different level of amazing! I KNOW they are hard to resist warm right away; but sometime give the refrigerated version a try I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Yum! I make a similar recipe but also add carrots and potatoes into the mix. My daughter, who does not like the ingredients individually, loves these “veggie hush puppies” 👍🏼
Thankyou so much. I’ve been eating junk food for a while now and realised that I need to eat a better. The notion of eating healthy has always scared me because I often thought that it would taste bad. Because of this recipe, I’ve become more open minded to eating healthier. Thank you!
My garden is about to burst with yellow neck squash. I’m looking forward to giving this recipe a try. I even own a nut milk bag from my failed attempts at oat milk.
Made these tonight, and everyone went for seconds 👍👍👍👍. Thank you for this wonderful recipe (I must admit that I burned the first two but the rest went fine 😊)
Excellent base recipe. I live in Scotland so used peasemeal instead of almond flour which worked fine. Have to admit mine were kinda rough lookin', and further I confess to adding a coupla slugs of Habanero Tobasco to the last frittur. This is Scottie-American FUSION food, ha!
