I want to just say this channel has the most accurate presentation of every shoe as far as the colors are concerned. If I’m ever unsure what the thing actually looks like because every video on them has some weird color balance I know I can come here and if it’s featured on here I’ll see what it truly looks like. I know this is an objectively great sneaker but I don’t know how to feel about it personally. I think my girl would love these. The metal hits are super cool. I definitely don’t think suede was the right way to go for these upcoming Royals, I’d like to see something different in suede or maybe the Royals in satin as well. And yeah the 85 cut is all that exists in my world so I’ve been snatching up those releases. I’m wearing my True Blues right now.

I completely agree, if they bring back classics, they should do it in an 85' cut 100% not that I still don't wish I hadn't missed out on the unc, the Chicago and breds in 2015/2016? But it would do the jordan 1 justice to only make those with an 85 cut 🙌 I grabbed these for my S.O on shock drop, now I just have to try and get myself one so we can match, and hopefully one for the kiddo🙏 ALSO.... Super burn with the nike history had me dying 😂 Love it!

Silk is made from the silk of a silk worm. Satin can be made out of many different fabrics (including silk) but only have the silk like feel on one side of the fabric.

I hit on these through EA with Nike. They will be here any minute! Can't wait. My favorite reimagined is the L & F, which I was able to get for retail, so it holds a special place in my heart. Lol.

Neither for these Reimagined pairs for me personally, already secured my Jordan 1 Royal on a reach back on eBay. And I don't need the Bred 1 in every texture known to mankind lol just want the leather pair if it ever returns. Always appreciate the crisp, clean on foot with the backlighting.

I would love if the OG color ways were given the 85 cut going forward, but they really need to increase the supply for that cut. For example, It would be such a disappointment if they released an 85 black and red Jordan 1 but kept the supply low like past 85 releases because it would be almost impossible to get them for retail.

@@yassver I respect that. My friend also isn't a fan of the 85s. I think they fit great, but I can see how making classic color ways only in the 85 cut would alienate some people. Whatever Nike does, I just wish they made more supply of the 85s because it feels like supply has been so limited for that version.

I heard the Cherry 12s have plastic eyelets again. I'm just confused on how they can do metal ones on the Satin 1s but can't do it on the Cherry 12s like they did originally for the OGs.

Released previous as a mens shoe with roughly 500 pairs. Others have done side by side of that limited run and this new womans release. Slightly different red and different color shoelace tips. The limited release fetches thousands. Now you can get almost the same for the low.

honestly the shattered backboards and reverse shattered backboards in an 85 cut would be awesome. I wonder if Jordan brand considers those original colorways, unlees they mean original 1985 colorways which means there aren't going to be that many 85 cut AJ1s.

Another great overall review!! Thank you!! Very much appreciated. I received "early access" from Nike but, decided to pass. IMHO, that satin material looks like it will get dirty quickly and a pain to clean. Still have my patent leather version which is still clean.

Yeah a very dope sneaker and yes l agree that they did that since they didn't do the gold tip aglits on the Cardinal 7's but still a dope pair hoping l can get a pair when it drops this week

i own 2 different pair of the 85 cuts (georgetown and varsity red) and i freaking love them. they should keep the OG colors in 85 cut and up the quantities of them, and use the OG cut for other or new cw's. but jordan brand being jordan brand, theyll will do whatever they want. another qualm i had with these breds is, the laces while having the metal aglets, which i love, they seem to cheap out on the laces themselves. feeling the pollen laces or shadow 2.0 laces, these laces feel cheaper and thinner in comparison. like theyre saving pennies going with cheaper laces and all those pennies do add up, but is that savings really worth cheapening the brand? i guess i aint helping cuz im still buying the shoes....

Congratulations on hitting on the shock drop, Chris!!! I got EA for these, and I'm torn on them. I love the black and red J1 Highs. My favorite colors and color blocking. The satin look is iffy for me. I love all leather everything. So we'll see. If what Mr. Unloved1s says is true that original colorways will only drop as 85s, that's fine and all. Not really, cause I know I'll have to resort to resale for those. But I feel like that Nike/JB will delay releasing the "best" colorways (Chicago's, Black and Reds) several years out and release other not so great colorways (black toes and anything with blue lol) sorry Chris. Blue's one of my least favorite colors.

I love these…… but I don’t do satin Jordans……..If a drop of coffee or dirt or anything gets on it, it becomes a permanent stain that’s hard to remove!!!!!…… so I’ll have to pass……. However the next one that’s gonna release on November 4th The Jordan one royal reimagined……I’m getting those…… By the way I just copped a pair of Jordan 1 lows OG university red ……. I make sure to always see your review BEFORE buying them…… so I took your advice on the Jordan one low OG University red and went a half size down……… I got 4.0 in men’s but I’m usually a 4.5 in men’s or boys I bought it on Nike app

Ez pass on these for Cherry 12's, as much as I like bred colorways the satin material is not it for me. Plus satin fabric is one of the worst for sneakers as they don't hold up well 🤷‍♂️

@@WearTesters No I understand that but in the video you said the “Black/White” jordan 1 colorway was the first OG colorway to appear on the 85 HI. I thought that was the White/Neutral Grey colorway to be the first OG colorway to hit an 85 HI model. I hope I’m not confusing you.
