For me these two are def. in the top 5 of AJ2‘s. The materials and the slimmed down silhouette are just awesome. The latter kinda reminds me of the Off White AJ5‘s
I like them both equally, but the tan ones are my favorite. Unique color. Grey is a common color. Nothing but fire from these shoes. Premium material Swede and style a 10. Jordan 1’s should take a break now.
The Union, Doernbecher, and Kobe drop doesn't make sense from a consumer standpoint. Nike has issues and my collection is just full of what I could cop for retail. I get the hyphe behind PE's but the rest I am starting to get I am cool type of vibe. Most GR are trash so they sit. I no longer get excited about drops this some Deep Cover, " You are blowing my high" type of thing.
Big fan. 8 year old me had the original when they launched back in 86-87. Wanted these bad. On release day. Had the rattan pair in a 3 min queue. At checkout, union charged my card 4 times with no confirmation. Needless to say, I eventually gave up and took a big fat L (didn’t want Union to have a 3-day hold on my mortgage money lol). Done dirty yet again!!
I got through on the Rattans for the 1st round and the Grey Fogs on the 2nd round. I even had confirmations for both. Of course they cancelled both orders like they did with everyone else. I ended up only getting an invoice for the Rattans. Still waiting on them to ship. I’m also super excited for the AMM2 drop. I managed to get an in-store raffle reservation for Thursday. 🤞

Bro i got both of them on GOAT and it was the worst shit ever. Both sellers ended up canceling the orders. I payed over 1,200 for both got my money refunded. I just purchased them on StockX now. Im a huge fan of the 2s 💯💯💯 very very underrated.

I was charged multiple times on the initial drop. Then I was able to cop on the second wave. Then they refunded everyone and I paid my invoice but my pair hasn’t shipped as of May 7th
I was lucky to have a queue checkout under a minute and get ahead of the payment errors. i thought it was gonna be an easy cop for those that were quick in checkout line

We actually don't know what the supply was . All we know is there were a lot more Rattan pairs than Grey Fog pairs in stock at Union because it was an exclusive. For all we know, the overall stock was the is the same and the Grey Fog is just split between multiple retailers. But, as usual, sneakerheads are stupid and assumed Union exclusive meant less Rattan. Resellers (slightly more intelligent) jacked up the price of the Rattan. If people had waited until pairs were in hand, I bet the price would've settled. Look at what happened to the Union exclusive Union Passport Dunk Low 'Pistachio', price fell through the floor because there were so many pair.
@@592manchas The most it ever has or the most among the 3? It's the later. Why? Because it's been out the longest. Go look at the price history. It's now trending back up after the price had a drop and still hasn't hit its post release high, let alone it's all-time high. This was because the stock was higher. When's the last time a Union exclusive on a red hot model like the dunk low, sold for under $1000 in common to big sizes? It's not that deep. Just think i through even just like, a second, bud. No wonder resellers take advantage of sneakerheads. And no wonder sneakerhead started as a play on crackhead. Whole culture is full of idiots. If sneakerheads were smart, Unbreakable Kicks would have 100 subs and DNA show would have 3,000,000.

Personally I really like 2s but I never owned a pair. I mean because how often does 2s actually drop? I can say I like these better than the Travis Air Max & the Travis Air Trainer 1.

da rattan pronounced by rolling da R is a absolute must cop once i found out bout dem sine its my bloodline fam since da first 6 letter of last name- deez were impossible to get but waiting on dem to be authenticated by ebay then delivered to my house hopefully by next week- my ebay seller almost got struck out by dem cuz he was lucky enuff to cop dem with union online but then order was cancelled but then it was sorted out again and he was able to get another invoice and then he got'em again so dey on da way- deez will be my holy grail so im not intending to rock my first pairs of 2s unless maybe it was a specail occassion like getting married like u dj one day lol- deez are fire and til next time i gotz ta go
Definitely worst experience for a true sneaker head. I really wanted these in my size 13 but was charged and got my money back 2 weeks later. Kinda done with Union and will focus on the AMM2
Rattan were Union exclusive which is why they’re worth more on third party sites Grey fogs already had SNKRS release overseas and it’s coming to the us I believe in May. Personally I went for the rattan because I liked the colorway more out of the 2 because I don’t own anything like it. I have plenty of grey shoes and blue shoes so the grey fog to me wasn’t worth buying, but I needed the rattan and I’m happy I hit and actually got a 2nd invoice from union last Thursday after 2 weeks of nothing from the release now I have to wait probably over a month to get my shoe from the actual release day of April 15th. The drop and handling of it was a shit show by union and they lost some of the respect which is deserved.
In my opinion i dont like these shoes. I in general dont like the 2's. I dont like this one because of those little circles all over the shoes. And plus the color is boring and bland. But thats just my opinion

you are trippin'. you explained exactly why the prices are different. If 10,000 people want something and there are 10,000 pairs, the price will be different if the same 10,000 people want something for which there are 1000 pairs. obv 90% of the people will not get the second pair, while all 10k people can get the first pair. its very basic.
Unión tbh is now trash with their crappy releases. I didn’t even go for the shoes just a shirt even then they still screwed up with the release🤦♂️. I’m no longer enthusiastic about thier releases anymore. Probably gunna skip the next drop they do
