Great review bro! Pro tip for the laces/tongue movement, go over under on the just the last lace loop and the laces don’t untie/loosen nearly as easily as under over! Hope that helps!

I've worn the 38s for a couple weeks now and it's an awesome shoe right out of the box! I do have flat feet and slightly wider but I had almost no problems with fit. The laces do need to be adjusted while breaking in but you never get so loose that you slip out. I did experience the outsole missing chunks and a fraying by the notches in the forefoot. The cushion is awesome! Heel stopping is an issue because of the curve shape and you may have slips outs. Still great on stability tho. Not as explosive feeling as the 34 or 36 tho.

For me, the sizing was really weird. I have worn an 11.5 US since the 34, yet even going down to a 10.5 US the shoe ran long. No idea what happned there

Felt pain in my right foot in the middle of the shoe on the inside right where that big plastic piece is. Experienced this from doing shifty hard cuts. I'm returning them but overall an excellent shoe. Just doesn't fit my playing style.

make sure you get a half size up. I got my normal size and got really bad blisters they fit snug so half size up .

I got my pair … didn’t even put em on … the soles hard ring plastic in the forefoot wasn’t in place si the air bubble or whatever was all messed up .. sent em back asap .. and now I just found em for 160 on sale so good thing I suppose lol

Just got this shoe and has xdr outsole. So separations as of now and I think it will last for a longer time. Played with them for 3 hours and it felt a little bottomed out. I cant feel the strobel and cushlon maybe bacause the insole is too thick.

There designed for indoor hardwood performance so the outdoor to me is irrelevant That’s like taking a Ferrari off road and saying the car is terrible. Just my opinion. Still dope review besides the outdoor part

Personally I love this shoe. My favorite shoe to play in currently. I haven't had the sole separation... yet.... but the cushion is amazing in these.. maybe they'll address the sole issue of they make a low

I checked my pair out of the box, and while there was no sole separation, I can see how it will happen with wear: the X-Plate involves cutouts in the outsole which result in it coming to sharp points in several places, and the glue in those areas will take on excessive strain and eventually fail. Oh well. This will be far from the first Jordan where I've had to reglue the outsole...

I really like this year’s model. Honestly, no shoe is worth $200 for me. If I can’t get it on discount at 10 or 20 percent I won’t buy it. I can afford it at MSRP, I just choose not to pay that price. Be it Jordan’s, Lebron’s, etc. The sole issues I’ve seen also make my decision really easy. You’ve done a good breakdown on this model. 👍

You just have to wait it out a few months. I was able to get some Jordan 37 low for 90 at champs. And it ain’t that old since it’s release

I wonder how the long-term use on just indoor court use only would lengthen the durability of the shoes. That plastic floor on the outdoor court might not be the best surface for those shoes. Let's see.

Bought 2 pairs but already returned 1 due to the forefoot rubber breaking off after 2 games...I like the design and how it translate into the product but they are not durable, not up to the standard of flagship model.

the shoes are brilliant. very comfortable. very good cushioning. perfect for people who have Achilles problems, because the cut at the back means that nothing causes pressure. Unfortunately, after two games in the hall, the sole is damaged. in the same way as Allen's. I managed to buy the shoes for $150, I will wear them for a while but I will definitely file a complaint. but honestly they are so good that I will order them again.

I’ve played twice in them so far indoors and they felt great needs a little breaking in but on the 2nd time a chunk of the bottom sole came off by the x plate

Love these shoes. They grip the court and offer great stability. But the soles on mine already separated after less than 10 hours on the court, too. I returned and replaced them once, but seems like will be an issue going forward. What's the best way to maintain? Seems like shoe glue will just rip after a couple games.

I'm considering buying these or the 37. Saw other reviews and your reviews, and I must say you probably are the best sneaker reviewer on RU-vid. The amount of detail you go through is just incredible. Overall, what would you recommend, this or the 37? P.S. I'm a forty year old man. Not really going to play on these much but want to know your thoughts. Thank you!

I tried the 38's and i could really feel the side big plastic parts on the outside. I tried half and a full size bigger and it helped but then they got to be too big. Very comfortable shoe except for that plastic part for me and i been waiting for the black and aqua colors for a while.

I've heard the durability of the outsole is terrible, I just ordered the PF version from Asia with XDR outsole, I wonder would that problem still happens?

so my 4 yr old j34 still intact when it looked flimsy af, while you play in these for a month and the outsole is already breaking. thanks, ill stick with the all pro nitro and probably get a lebron 20 or 21 pare

Paid $100 for the FIBA 38. Got lucky. Hopefully the outsole holds up though.

Great performance but unfortunately after 5-6 hours there was deterioration and sole separation so for the amount they cost they are going back to Nike for a refund there's no way you should expect this for that price!!!
