Yes JimBob, the install for these will be the same for the 2017 as for the 2019. I would definitely recommend getting the Ultimate Plus kit solely for the purpose of the longevity of the product itself. You can install them anywhere but we put them near the hitch to keep them safe from being damaged. Typically, you can inflate your air bags with the right amount of air before hitching up to your trailer. www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/Air-Lift/AL88399.html
