If you're looking for an efficient way to keep your truck's air springs functioning at their best in an extremely convenient package, then the Air Lift WirelessAIR Dual-Path Compressor System should be your go-to solution. This handy system uses a wireless controller mounted in your truck's cab to control a heavy-duty, dual-path compressor system that's that's hooked up to the included wireless receiver. Less wires means fewer hassles when you're keeping your rear air springs filled at their optimal levels to haul your gear, trailers, or toys. The WirelessAIR system allows you to adjust air pressure on either side separately while maintaining adequate pressure for just about any application to keep your ride smooth.

I'm curious why you wired the positive lead to the battery when the directions call for wiring it to the fuse panel via a source that is hot only when the engine is running?

I'm interested to know why you would install the compressor and manifold just above the exhaust?

Does that compressor need any type of maintenance?? Filter change/clean or anything like that??

Why did my instructions ask for 2 1/2' from compressor fitting to air dryer

You can run the air dryer up into you truck cab through a grommet.

Would I be able to use the manifold and wiring and tap into my existing onboard air ...?? I already have a viair 444c compressor that kicks on and fills a 2.5 gal tank when it's at 115psi or lower and shuts off at 140psi

Seems like you could do it, you might want to give the guys at airlift a call just to double check.

@@stage3motorsports I've been trying to bounce info back and forth with then but it's either really slow or there's no response ..... I think I will end up buying the smaller solenoid they have on the site and attach that to the manifold so that when it commands air which would have been from the compressor would now come from my airtank .. I think it will need a reducer of sorts to keep if from thinking it's over pressurized

Nice video! I have a few questions/concerns.... 1. It looks like you used stainless self-tapping screws to screw into the aluminum body of the truck. The non-black primed parts are aluminum cross-members under the bed. Having dissimilar metals touching will cause corrosion and ultimately failure of the parts. Did you do anything to address this? 2. You drilled into the frame. I've heard that this voids the warranty on the frame. Do you know about this? 3. This is all very close to the DPF which gets VERY hot during regens. Are you worried about the longevity of the cabling/compressor/manifold? I ask this because I have the same kit, and a similar truck. Just figuring out how to get it all done. I saw one guy mount his above the spare tire by making his own bracket. I may try this approach. Thanks!

We will switch to aluminum screws in the future, but this is just a general install for all trucks and we wanted to install the kit as it was shipped to us from Airlift. For drilling into the frame with the warranty, you'll have to talk to your dealer about that since all warranty decisions are up to them. It is hard to tell from the camera angle, but the compressor isn't quite on top of the dpf. We kept everything as far away as we could while staying in that mounting location

Agree. It's seizure inducing.

You need to get rid of that ridiculous sound. You need to show how to "join" remote to the controller. Mine fails half the time. I'll call Air Lift on Monday. It took me 30 minutes the other day to get the desired pressure.
