Wish I had realized it was an option when I was learning to airbaby, haha! It's proved super helpful for learning variations like lotus airbaby, though. Highly recommend giving it a go.

A lot of aerialists use a spray adhesive called Tuff Skin, which I've found works quite well. Thank you! Hope it helps!

I hope you heal up soon and I appreciate that! Airbaby is a strange feeling to get used to and the tricep skin pain can be pretty unpleasant at first, but eventually it feels as natural as walking :) best of luck to you!
