Nice video; very impressed with the standard of decoration and amenities. I am unable to fix my ideas on airbnb; the reduction in available rental accomodation resulting in price hiking for the ordinary French looking for somewhere to live; then the nuisance/noise factor that people have to endure. As she said lots of parties and children. We have a large rental flat in the block where I live and have to deal with drunken tourists overflowing into the cour yelling their heads off and thinking it is appropriate to play their music as loud as possible. Yet they also provide a form of holiday which I consider better than hotels. But did appreciate the glimpses, especially of Sebastian.

What a beautiful video! Really like to see more of the tips to you have. Where to go, what to see and to do. We hope to come again in February. Last time we have stayed in Hotel villa Rivoli in Nice, that was fantastic, but airb&b looks good also.

Thanks Tim for this informative video. We stay in one of two houses on the edge the old town in Nice. But this video may tempt us to stay in Villefranche. We have booked one of our favourite houses for October and hope to meet you and Mr. Boo for a meal a long chat and many laughs. XXX
We were in Villefranche yesterday and that first apartment that Mr Boo looks after is in a great location. We even saw Sebastian (well my nine year old spotted him). It’s a lovely town and had a spot of lunch in La Praia. I couldn’t remember the name of the sandwich you had mentioned in a previous vlog. I think it was a salad nicoise on a bap if you could tell me the name I’d appreciate it as going back to Villefranche again during the week.

AIR B and B prices are now out of reach for most people. Hotels are less expensive. What has happened with this once good product? Have people become greedy? It is NOT supply and demand that's for sure.
@@MeandMonAmi I think I can disprove that. We are looking for a two bedroom flat or house for two weeks in May 2023 along the coast between Nice and Aix-En- Provence. Have found nothing that beats hotels for the same period. Maybe I have the wrong websites to find what we want.
@@globaltravelfanatic I think two bed flat/ house versus single room hotel then hotel will win but it’s a single room. I’m often surprised how low one bed flats or studios are on air b n b in Nice
