The technique of the individual flames is great, but if you look at the finshed piece youll see the flames are in a gtid pattern. Very regular, losing the flame effect.
Uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh. Better than i can do thats for sure. Probably couldve done better if it was an airbrush but he did show how to get airbrush style nasica down
Looks like this car was a beater to play with, so anything is an improvment. Study the flame more, this flame job you did was ok, but the pattern people associate with 'flames' is more horizontally pointed, transitioning from red at the base to white at the tips.
Disclaimer : To ask owner permission first before spraying car that is not yours....lol Spray can artist lights up a can to make balls of fire in between coats, a primer coat of gasoline then followed with spray can fire will create very nice life like 🔥
One thing I learned about RU-vid is. That there's so many armchair quarter backs that show up. Hey if someone can do it better then just make your own video instead of wining about it.
“A” for effort and I’m not hating or dissing u man but Sorry bro but this ain’t even close to any kind of fire representation such astrue fire(mike Lavallee created)/or realistic fire/or stylized fire/ or any fire. There’s no beginning, middle,or end. Fire is organized chaos, you got the chaos down but no flow or color blend.its very difficult to create this effect using a airbrush, so with a spray paint can it’s even harder. Need to use a reference, with airbrushing I started with a red basecoat layout/roadmap, next molly orange for creatin first flame licks but keepin it loose, spray Kandy orange over it all, next Chrome yellow to define them more and get finer detail on the licks, then Kandy orange again not to heavy, next back to the chrome yellow to beef up and redefine some of the hotter spots. Then a Kandy yellow/pagan gold/Spanish gold/tequila yellow Kandy. Any will work. And lastly hit hot spots with a white and yellow mix, and push them backs lil with the Kandy yellow. It’s hard to make look correct and flow like fire.
