Andy, I know this video is several years old, but I wanted to let you know that it still lives on and I'm the latest person benefiting from it! Thank you for how encouraging your manner is, you take away the intimidating and scary parts and make us feel capable and that's a real gift! Thank you, sir!

Decided I'm going to get another airbrush and your video fills the bill for things I never knew, it should be of great service to me as I get the shop running again. I can't tell you how happy I was to see you begin with wearing a respirator. I almost never see anyone wearing them in their videos. As someone who has experienced having his respirator fail when using some paint for real airplanes, I can assure you that you DO NOT want to find out what you've been missing. No I didn't buy a respirator until well after I had my brush. But once you use one for the first time you will understand why you want to always use one. Andy, you haven't covered single action airbrushs. To go along with what you said, I invested one of the best at the time, a Pasche H. That was in 1978 and I still use it every time I paint. I did lust after a Pasche V double action for years when I got one and got it functional, I found i couldn't use it ! Due to injury, I can't control 3-D movement of my fingers. You can do almost anything with a single action brush that you're double action does. Their easier to use, too. Great videos, Andy. You have really covered the bases. 👍👍👍👌

I have had a Badger 200 for over 20 years and it still works great. Its single action, for ease of use, but internal mix so it can spray a nice thin line. Love my Iwata but this thing is a tank and easier for most beginners to master.

Thanks Andy ! Very informative. I don't know what it is but I think I'm not the only one that has purchased his first airbrush and waited a whole year to use it and instead relied on rattle cans and brushes. I was not aware that you can add Tamiya thinner into a brand new bottle of acrylic paint and keep it thinned. I presume as long as you keep the lid tight it would last a long time. Enjoy your videos! Keep'em coming!!

Thank you Andy. I have an airbrush I bought about 2 years ago, but have not used it yet, because I'll be honest, I have been intimidated by the operation and care of the brush. I know, it is crazy, but I think just making that first step will help me to get going. I am so tired of the brush look on the models. It is time for me to step up to the airbrush.

Great video, Andy. I bought an airbrush a while ago and screwed up using metallic paint which put me of a little. You have inspired me to get back to practising. If you love the hobby and build a lot of models, you can easily recoup the expense of the airbrush. Rattle cans are around £6 for the small Tamiya ones here in the UK.
