AIRBUS A380 vs. BOEING 747 - Landing + Departure - Which one do you like more? (4k)

I've flown both and prefer the A380 by far!

I remember when the B-747 was introduced. Quite the commotion around the world. A "Wide Body"!! Later I joined the Navy, and had the opportunity to fly commercial vice MAC Flights and with 3 or 4 plane changes, I was so, so wanting to get to fly on a B-747!! And when I got to Tokyo for my first plane change, I arrived at the gate and looked out the window standing well above most of the Tokyo locals, there it was. And then that kick in the gut feeling... its for the other gate... No, it's on our side... It's ours! I believe it was a TWA or Panam... Not for sure now. It's only been 45yrs ago. But nevertheless, it was the only plane from Tokyo to Dallas, the lady at the check-in counter at our gate asked if I minded sitting next to a door, just in case, and I didn't have a preference till then, but that would become my seat of airline choice; such spacious legroom for a 6'3 and 7/8 pax.. Then a L-1011 from Dallas to Miami. Barely had time to get up and walk around to chk out it's features. So I got 2 wishes granted on that trip. Going back, there were 3 planes, with one being similar to the L-1011. That was the best flying up until my trip from Singapore to Dallas to Corpus Christi, TX. It was a Boeing of some sort. But it would become my new best 18hr flt, as it was my last flt, never to fly any where, ever again.

Long live the queen. Anything that starts and ends with a 7 is badass.. Cargolux @5:11 must have been hauling butter. That crosswind crab was dominant. The touchdown sublime.

Love the 747 much more than the A380. The 747 looks like a sleek iconic aircraft while the A380 just looks bloated.

A380-800 ✈️

They are both technical marvels of their time, but as the 747 was first developed over 50 years ago and before main stream computing came along, this is the one for me :-)

A380!!!! Having been on both: 1. Even the economy seats are the most comfortable as the seat slides forward when tilting the back rest, making the long haul so much more comfortable. 2. The flight is much smoother, less turbulence. 3. A lot less noise when sat by the wings. No brainer really.

In my opinion, the 747 looks incredible at any angle • arrival, departure, in flight • It is a beautiful plane.

The A 380 is a better plane in Aero dynamics guiter and smooth in taking off. The 747 is noise in take off and shutters. You should not compare them as one is older in design. I like both to fly in.

The 747 looks sturdier and is more graceful. Also, I found her more pleasant to fly in than the A380. The A380 is like a lumbering giant and it struggles to get into the sky. It has to be the 747 for me, especially with what Lufthansa has done with the 747-8.

I prefer the A380. More robust and sleek.

I used to love the 747 more but for now I really love both and it’s hard to compare both aircraft and even harder to say who you like more, but if you told me to choose the a380 or the 747 unfortunately I’ll choose the 747 even if it was a freighter since I have never got on one and it is going out of service soon. I have never got onboard the A380 and it’s still in service and I hope that someday I’ll be able to fly on 🤗👍🇸🇦

A380 looks awkward when taking off and Landing as if its having a hard-time.

A380 is better look at it it has 2 floors

747 is good and that's where Boeing stopped innovating. Airbus took over the world with A330. A simple yet efficient plane. Just like AMD ..kicked Intel's ass because they got complacent . Ryzen kicked butt. Toyota beat GM. Arrogance always loses eventually
