I saw this video and just had to watch. I have spent hundreds of hours doing rib stitching. It's kind of relaxing and it takes as long as it takes. There is something very satisfying about doing a neat job like you have done. It is an art form. Way to go!

Totally lost me at "down the east side...." I have no idea what is happening. Hand kinda covers what is happening then all of a sudden you pull and a thread is coming out of the fabric. Where did that thread come from?
Are there locking knot stitches with the “Staggerwing” method, like there are when using the modified seine knot method? If yes, is it just the added half-hitch that you used on the final stitch?
