Do a bit more research. Current science says that bacon itself, in moderation, is not bad for you. For myself, I can't eat that which is cured with nitrates. Current science says that all the information we've been given on eliminating fat from our diet is wrong, and that it is simple carbs, including sugar and flour, that should be eliminated from our diets. Bacon is no longer the enemy, just like egg yolks.
I love the white asparagus: the white gold. So creamy, so tasty, just perfect. You should try it! But it is not that common on most parts of the world.
Oh! OH! What my uncle used to do, was wrap the long green beans in Schwarzwälder Schinken (a type of bacon I guess), maybe try wrapping those in bacon! It's really yummy :3

You should always fry your bacon before doing a bacon wrapped food. If you don't, whatever you wrapped will be overcooked and dry and the bacon will be undercooked nearly 100% of the time.
Stretch out and cover to tips. I hate brussel sprouts, but cook in the drippins from bacon 😋. Old and grey but I'm still learning 😃. Gastro pubs do this.
i know it’s not the healthiest but my moms best friend showed us this recipe for “jalapeño poppers” it’s basically v&v sausages cut into rounds and individually wrapped in bacon topped with cream cheese and a slice of jalapeño. air fryer friendly and they’re so scrumptious you should try them!
My uncle makes two snacks for us that we love: 1: 1-2 blocks of softened cream cheese spread at the bottom of a small casserole dish. Pour a can of chili on top, or use homemade if you have leftover. Top it with cheddar or an easy melting cheese blend and bake it until it’s melted. This dip tastes best with Doritos. 2: Mix cream cheese with cheddar cheese shreds. Put this filling on lunch meat slice and roll them up. Bake them until the filling has melted. It would be cool if you took any of these dishes and put your spin on it, like using one of your hot sauces, your seasoning blends, with a new ingredient you found, or subbing any of the ingredients for other ingredients you commonly use.
this is quite similar, but have you tried “green beans” wrapped in bacon? in the south we normally sprinkle them with brown sugar, one of my favorites!
Have you tried roasted or baked eggplant ? A very simple one, peel the dried or charred outer skins and mix the well baked or roasted inner layer with sliced onions, salt and just peanut oil. Peanut oil makes the smell good. Perfect when you go with chicken soup and a bowl of rice . Very healthy and diet food. Also tasty. Edited - can also put some chili flakes or already made chili oil.
Lisa if you want the cheese to stay on the hotdog when you air fry it. Just make a straight line slice in the hotdog and then stuff the cheese inside of it. Then wrap the bacon around and I think it should work good.
All I'd do differently is stretch the single piece of bacon further to cover more asparagus and have that pork fat basting the asparagus ends as it cools. Mmmmmm
