Mary Berry Fork Biscuits Ingredients: 100g (4oz) Butter, softened 50g (2oz) Caster Sugar 150g (5oz) Self Raising Flour Method: Measure butter/Marg into a bowl and beat to soften, gradually beat in the sugar, then the flour. Bring mixture together with your hands to form a dough. Form the dough into 16 balls (I made 13 out of mine) about the size of a walnut and place well apart on baking parchment. Dip a fork in a little water and use this to flatten the biscuits. Choose Bake Setting on Airfryer 160c/320f for 10 mins, leave to cool for a few mins in basket before putting on the cooling rack. Enjoy!
Bonjour de Normandie en France, j'ai regardé plusieurs de vos vidéos et j'aime bien votre façon de faire, c'est simple mais efficace. Ça me donne envie d'en faire pour mes petits enfants. Merci
One stick of butter in the U.S. weighs 110 grams (in case no one has responded). My Cosori was recalled - there were 2 Million recalled in the U.S., 250 thousand in Canada and about 125 thousand in Mexico. I love my Cosori!
They look lovely. I like the Cosori, I wish I'd gotten that make now. I like your new layout, the hob cover is a great idea. It's surprising how much extra space it gives you
Thanks yes we could see them ok, pleased you had your coffee or tea as you wish ready. I think you may be making more by the looks of things. Thanks for sharing. Hope your feeling a bit better today. At it seems from what you say , that you are great.
Weather is so miserable where is spring 🌱 I'm craving to be outside it's so long our winter I'm suffering from sad !!! Then I can watch u at the allotment 😅 good old Martin 👍👍👍👍 Loving the set up set to go now ❤❤❤
Thank you Carol👍am hoping to go to the allotment tomorrow if its bot raining, rain is forecast thou shish! It doesn't normally rain much here but we've had lots!
So glad we found your channel, love watching everything you make and trying them for ourselves. I made bread in one of my air fryers today and it turned out amazing. I used to make these fork biscuits in the oven and hadn't thought about making them in the air fryer. We loved dipping half in melted chocolate as a wee change. Any thank you again and look forward to more vlogs from yourself. Glad your on the mend. Xx
@Budget Cooking UK your very welcome Kerry 💖. I made Cauliflower Cheese in the air fryer this evening, not conventional as we know it but turned out delicious topped with bacon and salad onions. I have now made an "air fryer " album on Facebook so that I can post photos for reference and maybe give others some ideas. Your sausage rolls have went down a treat and I'm making them regularly 😋 . Thank you again for sharing these wonderful ideas and creations with us all. Xxx
This was my first attempt at making biscuits in my air fryer just to say I substituted some of the flour for almond flour (three table spoons) and the result 18:54 was good for a first try excellent quick and simple recipe using no dairy
Hi Kerry. I love your new set up in your kitchen. It looks great. Your hob cover is perfect and has given you so much space. Thanks for another great video 💕xx
Just got round to making these but have had to re-name mine to tenderiser biscuits as used the pattern side of the tenderiser to make a pretty pattern 🤭🤭
Hey Kerry that's a great setup you have there now. These biscuits looks so good, and very easy to make. Think I will do them for my granddaughter with some chocolate chips added. Great vlog again, and pleased to hear you feel a bit better😊
A stick of butter is 4ozs! Lovely recipe, could try vanilla or almond essence or maybe a spoonful of cocoa instead of one spoonful of flour. Cannot wait for the next recipe.
I'd add a tiny bit of apple sauce mixed with cinnamon in the centre of each ball. I always feel hungry when I see you cook, Kerry. Thank you for such effort.
Great to see you looking better Kerry! Hob cover looks great and given you so much more space. I'm loving that you are putting the recipe with method in the description part, easy to cut and paste! Home made is so much better than bought! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Michele💕 I made a lovely lasagna in the silicon baskets, delish but I burnt the tops🤦♀️will film it next time and be careful with the tops lol. Great baskets though, 4 good sized portions😀👍💕
Thank you Kerry for showing us an easy way to make biscuits and that the recipe can be adapted to make different flavours. I must try to make some. I think I would try squashing them with a fork before putting in the airfryer. A spatula could be used to lift them. You have shown us as well that different airfryers can give slightly different results. Great video ❤
Oh these look lovely. Will have to try tomorrow. At the moment I'm using Canderel caster sugar for baking (not the one for coffee) as it has half the calories of ordinary sugar and you use it like for like. Made your cole slaw yesterday and it was really light and lovely and I used my Ninja food processor for the chopping to save time. Will make again.
Hi Kerry, where did you get the hob cover? I bought the 2 burner induction hob that Butlers Empire have, but it is sitting on 2 glass chopping boards over the gas hob at present. Could do with something better. Loving your channel by the way.
I got it from Amazon, link here amzn.eu/d/6v1Xx7s Its polished stainless steel so marks up really easy, these can be wiped away bit I'm already seeing tiny scratches and I'm being careful! I did a close up today of this which should be out on friday. Having said that, I love it and the cosori sits on top. The cooker hob metal bits add strength to the top of the cover
Kerry Sour cream biscuits. 2 cups self rising flour 2 cups sour cream I stick of butter. = 8 tablespoons , 1/2 cup or 113 grams Combine and roll in flour shape and bake in air fryer at 350 degrees about 5 mins turn over and bake another 5 mins or till Doneness you prefer. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Hi Kerry made the sour cream biscuits again this morning. So very good really hope you will try them. A stick of butter is 4 ozs or 100 grams.Hope this helps. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks
Aww that's fab Patsy, no sorries needed! Just my lack of knowledge for over the pond measurements ☺️ brilliant thou because I can have a go too as have sour cream that needs using up! 💕💕
Something I think I’d be able to do and they look great. Will experiment with vanilla essence and another batch with cinnamon if all goes well. My daughter doesn’t like biscuits, so I’d have to try and finish them all myself. Oh well 🤣
My mouth is watering, they look delicious! Sorry to hear you were ill, glad you’re better! I’d love to be a patron, once I get my finances sorted, I will. When you mentioned vanilla, I thought that you could use grated orange rind and some orange essence in them, they’d be delicious too!
@@budgetcookinguk Don’t worry Kerry, I won’t see myself struggle, been there, done that, got the T-shirt, wrote the book 🙄 As for the orange biscuits, if you can maybe do it for a special occasion, you could dip one side of the orange biscuits in chocolate…I’m making my own mouth water! xxxxoooo
If you put a damp dishcloth or a sheet of non stick non slip stuff (don’t know what it is called) under your bowl it will stop it sliding about and less hassle to hold! Just an idea especially for oldies for me!
I turn off all my plug ins in the kitchen have always done ( I am 75) just to be on the safe side. i have had a cosori for 6 months having had a smaller one of other brand previously which I gifted to friend because she wasn't sure if would like cooking with one but she is now a firm convert😃
Biscuits with COFFEE, That's agaist the law in the UK..🤣 Tea!!! Biscuit means Twice Baked, yet you only cooked them once? Wondering if they would be more biscuity with a second blast to get the middle consistant? Another one I'm going to try, Thanks Kerry 👍
Biscuits were originally cooked in a twofold process: first baked, and then dried out in a slow oven. biscuits these days are only cooked once. Biscotti is baked twice.
Lol I had run out of tea bags, earl grey is my favourite tea😋cannot do builders. Was following mary berry recipe😄👍 but did not know biscuits meant twice baked?! Blimey just looked it up, so it was baked then dried out in a slow oven (google) back in the early days of biscuit creation
You can make these into the most delicious lemon biscuits, just add the zest (only - no juice!) of two/three lemons at the butter and sugar stage before you add the flour, and mix well. Also make a some lemon icing to decorate the top of the cooked cooled biscuits And add even more flavour!) : - couple of large tablespoons of icing sugar, add just enough lemon juice to make a stiff paste (no water) and pipe/drizzle over the top I promise you these taste delicious!
It's a vonshef induction hob, reviews commented on the noise too but I got it as it was best priced. The noise is less noticable now and prob similar to an Airfryer noise👍👍
I got it from Amazon amzn.eu/d/eK7bvWP What I would say though Beth is it's highly polished so marks really easily when touched, so I try not to touch it lol.
Loving your new kitchen layout Kerry, genius idea to get the s/s cover for your hob! And the induction hob I’m sure will be great and cheaper to run. Great video again, you make everything look so easy! So pleased you’re feeling a bit better xx
I followed the ingredient to the letter other than using marge instead of butter, and the dough ended up a little dry and crumbly. Not enough marge maybe? They still tasted great!
Hi Kerry A stick do butter is 4 ozs or 100 grams. Hope you will find this info and give them a try. Will be making the fork biscuits soon. My biscuits are not sweet but so good.
Hi I've watched your videos for quite a while now and enjoy them I've just subscribed to the channel 😊 just one thing about this video I don't like the music it's nice to hear the sound of the items being prepared 😉👍
I got it from Amazon, link here amzn.eu/d/6v1Xx7s Its polished stainless steel so marks up really easy, these can be wiped away but I'm already seeing tiny scratches and I'm being careful! I did a close up today of this which should be out on friday. Having said that, I love it and the cosori sits on top. The cooker hob metal bits add strength to the top of the cover
Hi love watching your cooking and I noticed with this recipe you have put the ingredients with weights at the top which makes it so much easier when cooking along with you thank you. Only 1 thing I hate is the constant music ! I find it hard to concentrate on what you are saying with noises in the background all the time and I know alot of ppl do too sorry x. Thank you for your Monday recipes I look forward to seeing what you cook and your ever increasing airfryers and gadgets 🙂x
Thank you (sorry I don't know your name) for watching👍💕 the music is a work in progress so have noted what you said and will adjust the music when cooking at normal speed. If its sped up (timelapse) I will put music in 😀👍
This really made me laugh Harry, you've got good eye for detail lol. Rosie is errr well let's just say it's a 6 monthly thing. I need to get her to the vets to be done but she's such an anxious dog it'll be traumatic for her so have put it off. So every 6 months out comes the dog pants (indoor only lol)😂😂😂
