One never must try to "show off" iFLYPLANESSS! The two fly too slow when the first stalled and crashed. The second pilot lost control watching the first... Thanks for your visit to my ScaleJetFred channel. regards and best wishes Fred
There's an RC airport near where I grew up and I gotta say I've never seen any of the big guys out there. It was usually the average size. These big planes are cool
Thanks TEXANGTO! It is always great to see such nice comment as yours Not all my 150 videos on RU-vid "ScaleJetFred" channel aare as nice - but many are! Greetings from Dublin Ireland, Fred
I still remember the first time I saw jet-engined models flying in Berlin. It was in the beginning of the 1990s on the - then former British - Gatow Airfield. But beside the jets the most impressive thing was a Super-Connie flying by in realistic, slow speed. And it was landed so soft, slow and precise as her big sister back in Fifties. Once again watching such a model is a great pleasure, though landing on grass surely was not so easy (and cant´t look so realistic) as on a real runway back then. But the diversity of the shown models on this meeting is really amazing and much wider than 30 years ago. Thank you for this video!
An even bigger thanks to you for watching and the comment. On my ScaleJetFred channel I have a short video how this B 747 was dismanteled and stowed before a approching thunderstorm arrived! Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Indeed! I recorded this event 2013, 2015. 2017 and (not edited yet) 2019 Thanks for your visit to my channel with 144 videos, most about RC flying. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
You want too talk about BIG BUCKS for a hobby well THIS IS IT folks...!!! Some of these turbine jet RC aircraft just for their engines ALONE can cost anywhere from $3-5k...!!! Then you factor in the body of the given aircraft and your looking at a total cost of somewhere between $10-15k. And i haven't even factored in regular maintenance costs too keep the plane or helicopter running properly...!!! So for any kids out their thinking this is cool yeah it sure is. However, you need too be an ADVANCED pilot and know ALL the rules and regulations before even starting this hobby. Such as FAA regulations on; how high you can fly your RC plane or heli, where you can fly it, and also know about noise abatement issues so your not pissing off anyone around you. Especially, if your flying a turbine jet engine driven plane or helicopter. They may not seem loud listening too them here on RU-vid but i've been too one of these RC plane shows. And let me tell you the jet turbine models sound exactly like a scale "mini version" of the real deal. THEY ARE LOUD...!!! So bottom line is enjoy the hobby if you can afford it. But SERIOUSLY know what your getting into first by reading up on any literature you can find. And start small in terms of the size of aircraft be it a plane or helicopter. And work your way up from there. And if your lucky enough too be able to attend these RC shows like the one in this video. By ALL MEANS go and ask questions you will learn A LOT from these seasoned RC pilots. And they can guide you in the right direction. Happy flying everyone...:)

NO.... What happened to the Concorde's They both FELL OUT OF THE SKY. They both flew fine on the previous day with VIRGIN Atlantic. Thank goodness that no one was injured when they came down.
Hello Derek! The pilots where showing off and flew to slow in a changeable wind direction. The first stalled and the other went in to shock and lost control! thank you for your visit to my ScaleJetFred channel with 143 RC related videos and your comment. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
@@RicardoDawkins Hi again! Any flying object, under special conditions, will stalling dependent of size, shape and weight. However lots of weight and relative small lifting device (wings) need high speed and flaps e.t.c to prevent a stall.. Happy time watching my videos, Fred
Hello Kurt! Both flew to slow. Pilots did not realised that the wind changed to Tail wind. The first was a classic stall, the second one turned his eyes back and so lost control. Both are flying again! Thank you for your visit to my channel where you find 140 videos mostly RC related. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Great video! so many amazing planes, and so many of the models I have and enjoy in my vr motion cockpit for flight sim. Excellent edititing for this video as well by the way. Big thanks for sharing your time and the hobby.

What do you do when the guy ahead of you has a 25' span Concorde, with the flaps, retracts, the works, and YOU show up with the SAME thing, BUT IT'S 40 FT SPAN, HAS MILITARY GRADE, JET ENGINES, WEIGHS 180 POUNDS, Yeah, yeah, retracts, flaps, lights, HAS SPECIAL CLEARANCE, ANNNND, A COMMITTEE FROM THE CONCORDE COMPANY TO AWARD YOU 400,000 EUROS FOR A JOB WELL DONE. My GOD man, what WILL you do?
Thanks for your vivit James Bonde! This was a long time ago> Earlier this year a 20 ft with 4 turbine jets was flown in Europe... Happy XMas and New Year! Fred
Thank YOU for watching Paul Williams! On "ScaleJetFred" are 2 more (of the 150) recordings from 2 more Airliner meetings on the same location, they are organised every 2 Years. 2019 and 2021 I was prevented because of Covit rules to travel from Ireland to Germany. Thanks again Paul! Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Hi Dave and thanks for the visit to my "ScaleJetFred" channel with 150 videos. Why Grass? The organiser rented this full size Glider operating field. They are happy with Grass... In Europe most Model flying fields are Grass... Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Hello xuebin li! the first stolled because of air speed and wind change to tailwind. The second came down because its pilot watched the first one and lost control of his Concorde when reducing power on his. Thanks for watchin and happy New Year. Regards Fred from ScaleJetFred channel
Yes every 2 Years Michael. You find the information on date etc on the web: Airlinermeeting.de If you are there later this Year, we may be there . I usual seen with camera , a photographers west displaying: AVF Video or AirVideoFred. Thanks for watching - I have 2 more meetings recoded and on www.RU-vid.ScaleJetFred.com available. greetings from Ireland, Fred

Hi aeronut2009! The music I don't know. I have no music in the beginning of my video. It is only from the advert and you have to ask RU-vid or the company who's product is marketed. That big can every each hobbit owner build one the size of limousine and remote control your selves back where ever each country come from please thank you.
Hi Jeff! thanks for your visit to ScaleJetFred on RU-vid with 140 videos! Your question: Both pilots try to fly as slow as possible to "Show Off" their planes and their flying skills. That there was a change of wind direction was not noticed. From head wind to tail wind. This , whilst the speed of the planes seen from the ground was unchanged, the air speed of the air over the wings was reduced below flying speed and the first Concord stalled and fell. The second seem to have corrected the air speed but noticing his colleges problem took his eyes from his own plane, may be moved some controls on the transmitter and crashed. There is a rule in RC flying: Never take your eyes of your own plane - no matter what happens to others unless you are directly affected. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Hi David! Thanks for the visit and comment to my ScaleJetFred channel. You find other videos of such events in my list of 150 videos. May be you will be back again? Greetings Fred
An aluminum cat seems spectacular to me! I also admire the attitude towards the idea of building it yourselves. The statistics on YT for these types of projects are sickeningly huge BTW, but more importantly, these guys are following their hearts towards a path that will definitely leave a deep footprint on the world's sailing community, and even more so in the invaluable legacy of additional experiences and beautiful life lessons for the Little Nugget and all the other “littles” who are virtual witnesses today and tomorrow. 👍💪👌
@@ScaleJetFred Fred I don't want to be a spoilsport but my comment was for a sailing channel and by mistake it fell into this 🤪 Anyway, I'm an RC fan too 💪
Hi Vincent! The first one got to slow and stalled; the second pilot took his eyes of his own model and it crashed itself! Thank you for the visit to ScaleJetFred where you can find 100 more postings. Regards Fred
@@ScaleJetFred Thanks for your reply to my question... Being watching your channel daily and because of your channel I started building a 4 feet scale model of 787-8 three days ago .. 21 years of flying for United airlines now retired
