Thank you Fred for your dedication and in bringing these beautiful models to our screens to enjoy, the standards seem to get higher every year and those three Lockheed Constellation's were magnificent.
I am happy you liked the video Angel Reading! On my RU-vid ScaleJetFred channel are 140 more videos about RC models, the earliest begins 1963 and is a digitalised 8 mm film about the beginning of my RC flying in Germany and later in Ireland. Greetings from Dublin, Fred

SUPRISE! First time I have ever seen a Buzz Bomb RC model. Great sound, authentic start procedure considering the lack of a booster rocket motor. Unique!

I am neither wealthy enough, or skilled enough, so I challenge any of you guys in this video to build and fly the 6-engine, VTOL jet liner known as The Bus, and seen on the television show, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Thoroughly enjoyed this post thank you for uploading. Been modelling for nearly seventy years now each year gets more and more amazing. Unfortunately your all away beyond me. But its great to see how far the hobby has come, from balsa and tissue to this high tech.
T o me flying is all about atmosphereand if say a connie was flyingit would make a noise as you would exsp3ect four big motors to make ithey dont come whispering by with NO atmasphere at all , There were some beatifule planes there some with turbines and motors that was a great atmasphere .thank you for sharing .

Hello Jonnie Guitar! I am glad you liked these beautiful RC planes! One of the same mold had won the Quarter Scale event in Las Vegas with one of the pilots on this video a few years earlier! On my channel I have a number of Display Event videos, often with Connie's flying. My first ever flight as passenger was in a Super Connie, PAN AM, from Berlin to Frankfurt when I left East Germany without permission 1959! Thank you for watching! Someone please just fix that 340 dihedral!! - he’s obviously installed the wing tube wrong or something, the horrific permanent anhedral is as out of place on an Airbus as an EGT gauge on a glider. It’s so distracting and so ugly, reminds me of how in the 80’s travel agents would assemble the airliner models in their shop windows with wings and tails upside down, not knowing better… the owner and pilot of a 4 engined scale jet, however, really should know better.
Hi O'Neil and thanks for your visit to my "ScaleJetFred" RU-vid channel! You write about the Airbus model - 2015 is a long time ago and I can't pass on your observation to the pilot who lives in Germany! Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Yes Diego, we met in Oppingen. I was at this event 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019. and posted a recording on my RU-vid channel: ScaleJetFred Greetings from Ireland, Fred
It is a pleasure Pete M! Yes, indeed Amazing; the first to go LARGE where modellers in the US. They organised the Quarter Scale event In Las Vegas. Unfortunately I only recorded activities there of the very last event. Thanks for watching my video, one of 140 posted on RU-vid. Nearly all RC related. Greetings from Ireland, Fred

Did the guppy airbus have a fault or was it pilot error. It looks like a stall the was just too close to the ground to recover. Silly climb angle/rate, with a wing-drop stall, and not enough altitude to recover.
ScaleJetFred ... Ah, so a little bit of both. Never know which one to root for when it goes down on maiden. Looked pretty good until the stall, and luckily it didn't look really bad (baby wheat to the rescue/cushioning).
Thank you for letting me know - I do receive some questions. So I can tell them what you wrote to me. Hoping to see you 2017? at the Airliner meeting. By the way: I was invited to visit Airbus in Hamburg. hey have an open air display including the original Guppy.
I hope too to visit this great Meeting 2017 with the Guppy again. The Guppy in Hamburg is one of tree Guppies on Airbus Locations and is in the best condition of all. Have some Pictures from and my model have the same markings.
Thanks for your visit. the official website can be contacted and your request may be answered. There are builders for what you are wanting to obtain, but I don't know any. Greetings from Dublin, Ireland. Fred of ScaleJetFred with lots of RC videos.
Hi King Fish! In theory yes, but in practical terms: no. Most large Airliner RC models are constructed from foam, only strengthened with glass cloth and resin.- see two of my videos how these builderrs make the models. Thank you for watching!

You realy watched the video! I am so sorry that I can not answer to you comments Ingrid!
Hello Glen, this is not a self starting device, just a tube with non-return valve and gow plug to keep the fuel igniting. The blower activates (opens) the valve, air and fuel mix and it "Explodes" After the first "explosions" the hot gasses exiting the tube give propulsion and also suction in the front part for new air / Fuel to enter. This is extremely noisy so special permission is needed (in Germany) to demonstrate such planes. The German V1 flying bomb used this system.... Thanks for visiting my channel
Some versions of pulse jets do not even have a one-way control for the combustion mix, they rely on geometry to direct most of the expanding mix down the nozzle.
Because the fuel is delivered continues. The valve assures that individual explosions create the forward movement of the plane. To begin this process the valve is opened by the air pressure. After that it continues until all fuel is used. Thanks for watching, Fred
Hello Matte! I agree that the engine sound is very important to realistically present these magnificent models making it more enjoyable for the spectator. Unfortunately some people don't see it this way and exercise pressure... On "ScaleJetFred" , my channel you find more interesting videos about large RC models. Thanks for your visit - hoping to see you again? Greetings from Ireland - Fred
The Connie is nice scale, but the electro sound is awafull, it doesn't fit to multi piston engine plane. The builder could have saved the money wasted on the sound system, the sound show is not changing anything.
Thank you Aqua Den for the visit to my ScaleJetFred RU-vid channel containing 140 mostly RC related video. Sorry for the delayed answer, RU-vid hat some Comments hidden for 12 month!! Hoping to see you again and Greetings from Ireland! Fred

Dear Aharon, Thank you for the visit to my channel with 140 mainly RC related videos. To your question: few modellers built their very large model from "Scratch". Most purchase a pre-moulded kit and finish it . But even this needs many hours work and know-how! Most of the very large Airliner models are made from Styro Foam cut in sections and glued together, covered with Balsa sheet , Glass cloth and resin. On my channel two videos taken in modellers workshops show some of this. Greetings from Ireland, Fred
Hi Ron, thanks for your visit and comment. I fly models from 1963 and agree with your comment. I fly both, but e-power only with small fan fly planes, my Scale planes are powered by 2 and 4 stroke motors, using benzine. Greetings from Ireland, Fred

@@ScaleJetFred Hallo erst mal.
Gruss Fred

@@ScaleJetFred Our shows here in the US., are too busy with too many aircraft in the air at one time. They are very well organized, but they try to squeeze so much in so fast, there is no time to appreciate each aircraft to the fullest. In general your pilots are very very good at landings. Perhaps it's the size of the planes as most of our pilots, stall too high and they don't have that smooth roll-out like your guys do. congratulations on putting on a great show, just enough of everything. Chip from the state of Delaware, USA..
