We will share video footage from the wind resistance test conducted at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). We are developing a unique propulsion system and flight controller for the device, and testing the technology in strong winds and other challenging environmental conditions as we strive towards an optimum level of flight stability for Airpeak.
To obtain feedback from professional drone users, Sony is seeking partners in the United States and Japan to collaborate on our Airpeak project.

what I like about Sony's product was, their honest advertisement & explain the feature of the product & innovation, but disadvantage was their marketing & production team very weak to reach their target on consumers' hearts..

@@pavelnikulin8240 You mean 33 knots In assume. I flew last week in Germany with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro at winds around 33 knots and the drone worked perfectly. Of course, Sony has got a big camera and flies more calmly but it will cost probably a lot more than a Mavic 2 Pro.

@@pavelnikulin8240 I frequently fly my Mavic air 2 at wind speeds of up to 35 kph and over 50 kph of gusts measured from the ground with anemometer, very stable and no issue at all.

That looks great! Although in reality there are gusts, winds going in different directions, winds that blow up and down etc which is far more challenging for the drone...

A couple questions.... Integrated gimbal? How is it controlled? Is it sending the image through HDMI from the camera or is there a separate video transmitter needed. Is it using GPS to stay stationary?

The Airpeak uses the Gremsy T3 gimbal, which integrates hdmi in the gimbal.

Every time I go out the winds are uni directional and linear. No sudden changes and from multiple sides. Why aren't they testing this outside ? If sony can't then who can ?

You could have been doing that all along. There are many UAV's more than capable of holding the A7iii. Including other drones produced by DJI.

This is not going to work? A $9000 drone plus $4000 to $5000 cameras connected to this? You could lose $14,000 if this drone goes down. I really don't know what Sony was thinking? This drone better is error-proof.
