My airpod pros kept falling out and id have to adjust it all the time so when they broke i got normal airpods and said to myself the pros would be better if it didn’t have the tip for me. Good review definitely getting the 3rd generated

I will try the foam tips for my AirPods Pro. I would like to try them as the silicone tickle my ear canal. I use the AirPods 2nd generation and love the comfort but they fall out easily. I ordered the AirPods 3. I hope they fit. Air Pods 3 large and would not stay in. The sound quality absolutely amazing for music and watching movies. Update: Comply foam tips work great.

Just gave into the pros yesterday there was a $10 difference at Best Buy. I think the ANC is amazing if you travel or live/work in a busy environment.

I returned the airpod 3s that I had personalized from Apple for this exact reason. I lost the engraving of my nickname lol but yeah the pros are better plus they have MagSafe now. Although, I am not a fan of the ear tips, they aren’t super comfortable. I just ordered some memory foam tips from Amazon so I’m hoping it solves the issue for my ears. Reviews for the one I bought says it creates more of a seal and that improves the audio and noise cancelation. Edit: The memory foam did not help. It helped a little with comfort, but it muffled the noise a little. I returned them and got the new Beats Fit Pro and they are amazing! Comfortable, slightly better sound with more bass, and the case is so satisfying to me to snap lol. It lacks wireless charging but I can deal with that, it does have USB C. They have the same chip as the Airpod Pro and 3 and that new EQ mic on the 3s.

I just bought the AirPods 3 because they now have a sound on par with the Pros and I don't like ear tips in my ears. And they fit me perfectly so I'm happy with them. If I know I'm going to be in a noisy environment, I do have ANC earbuds for that. Otherwise, I like the open sound and improved dynamics of the 3s. But, as with anything, it's simply my preference.

@@TillTheLightTakesUs first of all, you have no idea what I have as far as what I have for earbuds and headphones so to assume that I could have the Airpods Max instead of having two pairs of earbuds is very shortsighted and assumptive. Secondly, I never mentioned what my ANC buds are, which I got for free as part of a promotion. Lastly, I have many different sets of headphones, earbuds, and IEMs. Why? Because I'm an audiophile and I appreciate the sonic signature of what I have AND, depending on my scenario and/or environment, some will work better than others. And I didn't even mention my headphone amps and DACs. I don't want to overload your logic and sensibilities. Most audiophiles are like this so it's nothing new. I don't expect it to make sense to you so seriously, don't lose any sleep over it. 🙄

I need ANC, so I'd rather try and get replacement eartips than getting AirPods 3. I've put up with not getting software updates as an Android user anyway.

How do you change the batteries in the AirPods your are rating? I have a pair of Gen 1 AirPods, they don't hold a charge for more than 30 minutes....from what I understand the cost of having them serviced means you might as well throw them out and buy new.

My experience has been similar. I upgraded from Gen 2 to Gen 3 and the left pod keeps falling out. Shame because I love the shorter stem. Considering trying the pros but I am not sure if I will like the silicon tips.

I like the feeling of no silicon tips for everyday use. I also am happy to not have noise cancellation on everyday earphones. For everyday use comfort is the most important plus able to hear outside. If you are an audiophile, you won’t be looking at blue tooth or wireless. You be better of using IEMs, and I have those as well for music appreciation.

I have found that the better the sealing of the ear channel with the earphone the bass is perceived as more strong. As the Airpods 3 give a better seal , you can hear better the bass…. my 2 cents…

These are by far the best ear buds I’ve owned. I’ve had air pods and several different JBL ear buds. They were all good in their own way but these Amazon ones are better. The sound quality is great and being able to turn on and off blocking background noise and going full noise cancellation is great because my wife can talk non stop all day!

honestly, if you have semi small ears, i wouldn’t recommend the 3s. they fit like they aren’t even secured in your ears. airpods pro are honestly a better investment.

Is anyone having any issues with the touch sensitivity on AirPods 3? It’s not supposed to play if one is laying down on a table (no skin contact) and they play anyway. It literally drives me crazy and j want to return them anyway.

I just returned the AirPods 3 yesterday. The $179.99 price point just didn’t sit well with me, especially considering i already have the airpod 2. Sure the new ones sound better but I would only recommend these if you have the money to spare and don’t already have airpods or are looking to replace broken ones. Imo, skip this.

@@salvxdorr5786 if your upgrading from 1st gen, definitely go for the 3rd gen ones then. That makes more sense whereas for me I went from 2nd gen to 3rd. Not a huge upgrade for me but for you it will be.

Noise canceling is great but if you’re like me and you always have them on transparency then you wouldn’t mind the pros not having it Well one big thing I noticed between the two if you use large ear tips on the pros the new airpod will be lose

Just did an A-B comparison and the 3’s definitely sound better than the Pros. They are a little louder, have a clearer sound and have a little more bass. They were also more comfortable in my ears. The only reason to have the Pros is if you need noise cancellation.

I‘ve been using AirPods Pro daily since their release. Sadly ANC simply isn‘t working anymore (and transparency only on my left bud). That‘s why I just ordered some AirPods 3rd gen, since that‘s how I‘ve been using my Pros for a few months now.

They sound almost like the Pros - with better clarity even - although they are just sitting loosely in my ears rather far from the ear canal (basically like 1st and 2nd gen, with being a tiny bit bigger, which is great for me). So, I basically don‘t feel the buds, yet I get stunning, balanced sound. Couldn‘t be happier, for me this is some Apple magic at work.

Sound quality is so much better than Pro , so if you need more clear and punchy sound, Just buy AirPods 3. But if you looking for something with ANC you wilk need that Pro’s . Its just simple

I upgraded from the original AirPods to the pros for almost a year now, and I still love them. The 3’s are still solid though. It’s really personal preference.
