Of course not ... All AirPods are overpriced ... They last 1 to 2 years due to battery size ... And Apple do not provide a replacement service ... So they will be in the bin after that ... Hardly ecologically conscious Apple ... You need to sort that out before I’d even consider buying them

I use sony MDR xp50ap at 15$ at walmart spec: 4hz to 24 000 hz that goes to 110db WITHOUT any distortion ( very well reviews on google amazon ). Then I went at apple store tryed the new airpod pros. I wont say anything else then just try sony MDR xp50ap at 15$ at walmart before anything so maybe you will ask yourself why a 300$ earphone sound just like that. No offence.

The “pros” are great. The get factor is having the 3 options of noise cancelation, transparency and noise cancellation off. If your wondering whether to upgrade or have never had AirPods before. These are awesome.

If you watched the whole video before commenting, he did say AirPods were more confortable to him because there isn’t anything going into your ear canal. Although I hate regular AirPods because they hurt my ears, I understand everyone’s ears are different & you can see in the photos of the two AirPods in his ears, the regular AirPods look like they fit in his ear perfectly.

I thought these were a ripoff but I tried my dads noise cancelation inside an innout today. As soon as it activated, it felt like alien technology. Sounded like I was inside a library instantly. Was SHOOOOK by how well they work. Going to sell my 1s and buy these 100%

The noise cancellation is crazy. Granted, I'm on day 2 with AirPods Pros but I like that feature. I didn't realize just how well it eliminated outside noise until I played with the setting and switched it between all the modes. Sure, the 230 I paid for them is a hard pill but I guess at lest I put them on a 0% interest CC and can pay them off over a couple months, so it's not too bad.

I've been using it for couple months and yes, it is really worth it to buy the AirPods Pro. The audio quality really way much better than the previous gen of AirPods and that noise cancellation mode tho. I use that mode in the flight frequently and believe me, your flight will be way more comfortable because its blocked most of the plane engine's noise.

I went to the Apple store to test them out 2 days ago and wound up purchasing them. I have the first AirPods that came out and love them but the sound cancellation on these is extremely good and the sound is wonderful.

With Tidal if you’re listening to a master track the volume is always louder compared to the HiFi ones. Even if you turn the “normalize volume” option on. I’ve noticed this on both the desktop app and on iOS.

This is exactly and absolutely true! I was really concerned about silicone tips that I dislike for the compression feeling as well as the inner gut sound of your insides but since I received them as gift and that I trust Apple for their design and engineering research, I gave them a try and came up to this absolute same conclusion. This magic that makes them feel like AirPods with much better sound and refinement in the dynamic range. Same conclusion as well with the aptic command. Overall an impressive, still expensive, but impressive ear buds.

Thank you for a very good honest review, I comletely agree. By the way it is my first time with Apple AirPods. It has been so diffilcult to choose AirPods Pro or Airpods 2.g. I was very happy that the store allow be to get on pair of AirPods Pro on trial for three weeks. Allready after two days I was not sure if they was good enough to my need. Sound and all that is very fine especially when noise cansellation is on, then you get a good bass. The only thing I felt not so comfortable was the silicon tip - I felt sealed and got a kind of pressure in my ear channel when I use medium tip. I is fine when I use size small, but still I feel at little but sealed. Therefore I also bought one pair of the normal AirPods and they are more comfortable to have on for a long time listening. I use AirPods generation 2 when I at home and listening for a long time. I will Yous Apple AirPods Pro when I leave my house and going to the city or at work, because they are more safe in my ear and the noice cansellation.. So to get me 100% satiesfied, I needed to buy both models and I'm really happy.

@@amodace yeah fr, mt ears hurt like hell and i dont want to use my headphone because of how long i need to use (5-8 hour straight hearing my over ear sony w900 headset really cramp my head) and i ended up only wearing 1 at a time to switch regularly when my ear hurt so much. i really like in ear headphone (i use beyerdynamic) but the pressure is really uncomfortable. i really hope airpad pro is perfect for my ear

Thanks for the excellent review. My experience has been similar. I use the AirPods all day to work on, then I switch to wearing them during exercise. I noticed they weren’t as comfortable at first as well, but my ears soon adjusted. Kind of like how you get saddle soar when you haven’t ridden a bike in awhile, but if you keep riding your bum get used to it!

Really enjoyed this review since we've just received our Air Pods Pro - still in the box though (summertime!). First time we go wireless bc a lot of videoconferencing from home. Happy to hear that the Pros are worth it, especially since we'll keep them for quite a while (also easy to add extra money when you're spending a lot on hardware at the same time; boy, online retailers must love this comment). Curious about the comfort. Might use them 2-4 hours on end on occasion, but can still switch to regular iPhone earphones if needed. Anything past 60 minutes with earphones on seems too long anyway.

You're spot on regarding the comfort part comparing AirPods and AirPods Pro. I own both and I actually like the AirPods 1 just for convenience and comfort. the pro model is uncomfortable after awhile. I ordered the foam ear tips.. hopefully those make a difference in the comfort level.

I just bought the gen 2 AirPods back in late July. I had the Bose and everyone kept telling me they were better than the AirPods so I never bought any. But a sales lady talked me into trying on a pair and I actually liked them so I got some. I still have the Bose too. Then these came out. Had to get them. I think they are much more comfortable than the gen 2 pods. I wear them all night long on 12 hour shifts and only take them out for a quick charge and that is SUPER fast, and they go back in. They will fall out of my ears if I’m moving around though. I have big ear canals. The Bose wins out on staying in my ears. I even use the Bose on my motorcycle if I don’t wear a helmet. If I do wear a helmet, the Pros go in as they fit closer and it’s not a problem with a helmet. Thanks for the review.

Good review and notes. I never had the first AirPods so I can't compare. The sound quality on the Pros are as good or better than my Beats buds that I use at the gym, and actually get louder - which is good. After a few weeks, I'm still having issues keeping them in my ear, especially when eating or chewing gum. I'm getting used to them though, and will probably get some memory foam tips like others have recommended.

I had to return mine, as the airpod for my right ear wouldn’t stay sealed. I tried all tips and it kept coming loose. The left pod worked great though. I’m envious of those who didn’t have this issue.

i just cant seem to get the airpods pro to stay in my ear regardless which tip i try.. i prefer the noise cancellation that it offers.. sounds great and good bass too. im not sure if i should return them or if there are some aftermarket ear tips that work better.. i have power beats pro but feel the sound is better and deeper bass on the airpods pro.. regular wired earpods fit person.. should i just get the airpods 2? do they sound as good as the airpods pro? great review

I got mine yesterday and so far I love them. The noice cancelling is pretty good and I really like the transparency mode, my only complaint is that they now use the new USB-C to recharge the AirPods case and they provided a cable, but they didn’t provided a outlet plug adapter, which now unless I charge them using a wireless pad I’ll have to buy an adapter which cost approximately $30 Other than that, they are awesome...

Oh how i love these new airpods! On a plane theyre fantastic. Audio quality is better than the pervious airpods with a little more bass. Now im traveling with Airpods Pro and my B&O H9i, and im really happy with that combination. The Pros are better on the plane, but the H9i has greater sound quality! ANC is fantastic on the PROs

I've found the AirPod Pros to be the best ear-buds/headphones I've ever had. The 'vacuum' from noise canceling isn't there while the noise cancelling works really well. (It's weird how this can be bothersome sometimes.) I've had over the ear headphones, noise cancelling headphones, a lot of ear buds. (Previous best was Audio-Technica ATHANC7 Noise-cancelling Headphones that I purchased in 2007, still use, especially in my woodshop, and while on the treadmill to watch movies. I think the AirPod Pros will now take their place. In the shop, what I often did was to just wear ballistic ear muffs over my wired earbuds. Now I'll probably do this with the AirPod Pros.) I was a bit frivolous when I bought the AirPod Ps. I thought yeah $250 is a lot of money, and there's probably going to be a new model coming out soon.... My excuse was buy these, then when the new ones come out give these to my girlfriend and buy the new ones. Frankly, I can't imagine what Apple could do to improve them to the point I won't just keep using these for the next few years.

I bought them during Xmas with the extended returns. My take as a super active person. The original AirPods fit perfect for me, even when I did boxing or running or bike riding and they stayed in really well. They rarely fell out. Sound was good. The AirPods pro intrigued me with the fancy ANC and bigger sound however they didn’t fit that great and any big movements shook them out of my ears. Boxing was a no go. The case is big. The buttons on the stem suck. The button doesn’t feel right. I ended up getting the Powerbeats Pro. They sound as good as the AirPod Pros with better bass. The connection is the most reliable. And they literally never leave you ears no matter what. That’s zero fall out. The only negative is the case size but it doesn’t matter at all, as the pods last 9 hours!!! So you literally can listen all day at work without the charger. The gym or even a long marathon won’t wear them out. Incredible and easily the best option for active people. Lastly the clip behind the ear pinches for one or two weeks now they just slide on with no pinch so you do need to break them in.but once you do they are amazing.

Great Review! Gives good insights about difference between two pods. Just received my watch and know thinking that is it smart move to take pods as well. Currently using some pretty random bluetooth pairs. Working.. but Apple have quality in place

I work in an industrial setting and the pros are great. They keep out more noise than my traditional earplugs required where I work and I can listen to podcast in music quietly the noise cancellation is at a good level as I can still hear if I am being called on a work radio or overhead loudspeaker but it keeps so much noise out that it sounds like someone turned up the volume outside when I take them off. I only have to charge them about 45 min. To easily get through my 8 hour shift

The Airpods pro are actually quite good in terms of the audio and functions it has. It just that it actually gets a bit uncomfortable after a while tbh. Keep em in your pocket , but bring non-rubber tip ones as well

I just tried the Air Pods for a week, and had to upgrade to the Air Pods pro. Air pods do have what I would classify as 'acceptable' sound quality in the mid to high freq range, with bass that distorts (then tries to EQ out) at medium-high volume. Fitment of the Air Pod is strictly reliant on its weight and the ear skin oil to keep them in place. You won't be able to wear these while laying in the sun since they do fall out, and forget about using them while working out. Tap control worked nicely just as you'd expect from Apple. Air Pod Pro have similar sound quality to the Air Pod, but have also reinforced bass which plays most low bass notes to 40-50 Hz before steeply rolling off, which is fine for little ear buds. These are not Audiophile sound quality! Again, these are not audiophile sound quality! Fitment is equivalent to other earplug style buds, but they don't feel like your stuffing your ear (due to the tiny vent). They stay in place. I imagine the seal can be made even better with some foam tips. Noise canceling is a bonus - but seems like they are tuned for subtle ambient noises only (and primarily an airplane cabin noise, which I won't be testing any time soon) - you'll still hear a jackhammer, children's voices, women's voices along with other sharp noises with these in. This is how Bose does noise canceling with their earbuds too. You do get a $20 USB-C to Lightening cable included, which doesn't come with Air Pods. Squeeze controls work great and are more reliable than tap control. When you tack on the noise canceling, wireless charging, and the Apple ease-of-setup experience, the $250 (or $90 upgrade in my case) is still probably worth it. But if you don't want noise canceling, don't care about wireless charging, and don't care about having a tiny little Air Pod icon integrated on the iPhone during use, $50 wireless earbuds options sound about the same as these.

Was a very tough call, especially because at least in my area you can't return headphones right now and these are not cheap. I decided in the end to go with the known fit that I like of the wired buds and buy the 2's instead of the pro. I have other headphones with better performance/noice cancelling and silicone for hard workouts. For that I prefer Marshall to any apple product. All I want from my Airpods is that they work well and have light casual comfort. The 2's were perfect for me no buyers remorse thanks for the help in review yours and a few others were saying the same thing.

In my classroom it’s gotta lot of ambient noise. I put them in and no joke I was blown away. The feeling felt was just nothing. As if I was in the middle of the ocean but no waves. When I put on the music the music is great for listening you can really focus on those noises you just don’t get with ambient noise. The pressure valve is the most underrated feature I’ve ever experienced. If you are thinking about getting a pair get them. I use them with a Huawei p30 PRO along with the airdrop app. Edit: airdroid app^

@@servantofallah8029 AirPods Pro work wayyy better with Apple devices than the galaxy buds do. The galaxy buds don't have active noise cancellation. They also don't have a way of relieving the pressure of in-ear earbuds. The sound quality is better on the Pro, and so is the battery life. The AirPods Pro does basically everything the Galaxy Buds does, and then some.

@@servantofallah8029 No, the galaxy buds don't have ANC literally look it up. And reviewers who compared the two say airpods pro sound better with ANC on. You never talked about any of the other things I mentioned either. AirPods Pro are by far the better earbuds and it isn't even close.

@@sohanchalla3458 They do address the issues you addressed... noise cancellation is the same as ambient except for Earbuds u can pick the cancellation level and for the pressure of earbuds, the galaxy earbuds have about 3 or 4 sizes of the plastic bit that goes in ur ear. The battery life is 6 hours for Earbuds which isn't bad but the charging case only gets charged once a month and unlike the past airpods, they don't decrease in quality overtime. Ik this because I have the earbuds and I bought it 6 months ago

Had mine AirPods for about 2 years ish, I travel quiet often, prob 3-4 times a year and that means a lot of flight time, which is not so enjoyable with the normal AirPods bc of lack of anc, so I decided to order those. Hopefully worth the money.
