EXACTLY! and also just the comparison I was looking for!! thanks man. Though I'd go for the sony ones since the cool airpods features dont work with android
I bought the Sony WF-1000XM3 to my wife and she had real problem to get it to stay comfortably in her ear, whereas I am enjoying my pair. She is now using my old Airpod Pro. I just feel Sony could have done better in that regard and that would be an easy pick for you. At least for me as far as sound quality and noise cancelling go, Sony smacks the Airpod Pro. I could use the Airpod Pro with full volume and still not fully enjoy them as much as I do with the Sony on full volume. Simply because the Noise cancelling is not just 10% better (according to me), it is quite significantly better where it matters. When walking on a busy sidewalk, you definitely hear more background noise with the Airpod Pro while listening to music even on the highest volume. Sony on the other hand can give you an illusion that you are in a studio room where you hear not just more of the cleaner music, but also less of the background noise. Sony is the easiest pick if anyone cares for the sound quality and noise cancelling first.
I have Sony xm3 too, I love how it sound. But is not so ergonomic like the airpods. It is difficult to fit in the ear. But they sound so perfect. After me for sound it is SONY, but for fitting, it is airpods!
I just stumbled upon your review! And I got shocked seeing you only have 3k subs. Your video production is better than a lot of top tier youtuber reviewers! Here before 1 million!
I do not comment, but when I do, it means I have watched something which is truly exceptional. This by far, is the BEST comparison video and I have bought Airpods Pro based on this video. Now, apart from the content in the video, the way in which you delivered the content was also truly exceptional and being a small time youtuber myself, I can imagine the effort you have put in into making this video. Overall, I rate you 10/10 for the content and the content delivery techniques (with video editing) used. Cheers :)
I use Sony xm3. I love it. And I had airpod before I gave it as a birthday present. I love Sony but I am agree with your video man. I love Sony as much as I hate it because of easy to fall down and it has lots of thing to consider. And keep it up with your videos broo. U will get millions of subs in no time. I can tell that u have limited resources and camera. But your content is better than your camera. When u have better camera like MKBHD. then you will kill it man. Just don't stop okay. Love u. Love from Indonesia.
Thank you! I'm glad you like the videos! Keep it up I will!

I don't care about the products at all. I am not even interested a bit. I am just watching it because I like the way you do your videos. I would take your product reviews over channels with a million subscribers any day. Don't give up!
The transitions, the edits, the b roll, the camera quality. brother this video was very well done. I like how you explain both viewpoints with a pretty open mind.
Both earbuds are fantastic, thanks for the review. Personally, I agree, yet I'd pick my Sony's any time of the day, simply because of battery life and sound quality. One note: You can customize the tap control enabling volume control in the Sony app. Regarding volume and differences in frequencies regarding the EQ settings - you might consider getting your ears checked. And I don't mean that as an insult or anything. Both should be more than sufficient in volume, and differences in the EQ settings should be noticable also for the inexperienced ear. It might be an indicator for hearing damage (e.g. by excessive and prolonged use of high volume head phones in the past) that you feel like the volume is insufficient on the Sony buds.
I’ve had my APPs for about eight months or so and no issues that I’ve noticed. Good NC, great transparency mode, great ear seal (in my ears) and pretty good sound.
thank you a lot, all the other comparation videos i've seen about this two earbuds never show the ambient mode comparation, it's good that you show all this things that the other reviewers don't
As as an ex-owner of the Sonys, I agree 100 percent with everything he said. I read and watched all the reviews and now I could swear that all of them were paid. EVERYONE was praising the WF-1000XM3 for their amazing sound and some people for their comfort and fit. I owned them for a few days then returned them. These were an absolute pain, sheer disappointment. Sound was good but not mindblowing, they sounded just as good as my wired earbuds or my bluetooth QCY T1 earbuds which cost about 10th of the price lmao. Do not believe all the reviewers, unless it's paul! Do try them out and see how you feel. Sony should be criticised for their weird design, i mean why can't they be normal for once, gosh, they're always doing weird stuff... The earbuds had this bump or lump to be rested on your ear (targis or antitargis) but it was painful, was an extra step, and yes it fell off with any hint of movement. Bulky earbud. Bulky case, no wireless charging, wtf??? Can't speak for the aiprods and yes they're overpriced but I'd agree they're seamless, the design makes it appear so.
I bought both Sony’s have gone back,I found AirPods Pro much more user friendly and less awkward in your ear, there is a lot to say about AirPods Pro they just work simples, but I appreciate everyone is different so just buy the ones you like the most.
I can confirm after using the Sonys that they don't fit right in your ear. Maybe it is my ear shape, but I bought Comply Truegrip Pro tips and even with these quality tips I don't feel safe to wear these ear buds outside while walking. They are great for listening music in your house or at the office though. You have to consider one thing regarding ear fit and grip. The Sonys are more bulky and with time your ear sweats. Also if you are walking, there are vibrations in your body and head movements that add up so with time you will feel how they are slipping from your ears (at least this is the case for me). I would have returned them for this, but the laws in my country don't allow returning certain type of items for hygene reasons (these go in your ear, so this is one of those situations). If you want to use these in an office or just to listen music at home, they are great. If you want to use them outside, I say they are better options. The design is a bit dated (buds and case with no qi charging)
I love earbuds that can retain quality at higher loudness, a earbud can sound great at like 70% volume but if the highs get squeaky at 100% or just the highs take over than that can be a deal breaker.
I watched two videos of yours and you got me subscribed. The way you narrate and film the video got me. I really like your style, it's fun to watch. Thanks!
Great review. Thank you for so much detail. It seems that for me the Sony comes out on top on all the things that matter most to me - apart from the possible issues with fit, and that seems to not be a problem for some people. I listen to mostly classical music, audiobooks and podcasts, so for me it’s not ‘all about the bass’ :) And I’m definitely not going to be working out in them, so I feel it’s worth the gamble to get a richer sound and the ability to control volume on the buds, which is a big plus for me. Thanks for helping me weight the pros and cons.
Great comparison, thanks! Loved the creativity in the video too! Awesome! Wish you covered call quality, as in how well people can hear you. Have you compared that?
Best conclusion I’ve ever come across on a tech review. Like fo real I’m opting for Airpod pro despite longing for Sony’s sound quality & ANC. Airpod pro surely provides a experience for its ecosystem and I felt compelled to get it since I got an iPad & iPhone and will use my WH1000mx2 for better EQ
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you so much. I can definitely tell you spent a lot of time to be as helpful as possible. Definitely have earned my subscription. Thank you again for helping me make a better buying decision.
New subscriber I didn’t even think twice about it bro literally buying AirPod pros on Tuesday coz of this vid coz I got an iPhone and it’s making the most sense for me
Huh, that's interesting how your Sony earbuds fell out. I did the same wild head-bobbing test, like *really* whipping my head around (and got a headache), and mine stayed in the whole time. You right that they're not very comfortable, though, lol On a sidenote, great video. Great editing and your energy is almost explosive!! 😂
Hands down the best review of anything I have ever seen! Great clarity and perfect amount of detail and examples. You cover everything well with great insight and am left with no questions. Keep it up and wishing you and your channel amazing success
Excellent video! Very informative and entertaining. I really liked how you tried to recreate the audio for each one. It’s helpful for when you can’t try them on and hear them for yourself.
One of the best reviews I have seen. Regret I didn't see this video earlier and bought Sony. Amazing sound, noise cancellation but It just does not fit and are heavy on ear. If you can't keep bluetooth all time along, what's the point. Go for Airpod Pro, hands down
I've owned the Sony earbuds for about 9 months now. Worked out in them, wore them casually in commute, used them during prolonged studying hours, and general day-to-day use. The one thing I can always count on is the sound quality and noise cancelling. I am never not amazed at how such a small device can deliver such good performance. However, they are NOT comfortable if you wanna use them for > 45 minutes. They start to slowly slip out of my ear and I constantly, CONSTANTLY have to readjust them. They never make you feel confident in them not falling out honestly. And even though I use an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+), I frequently have connectivity issues. Nothing deal-breakingly bad, but still, it gets annoying sometimes. I never tried the Airpods Pro, but I would recommend that if you primarily want earbuds for working out/jogging/any exercise-related activities, then STEER AWAY from the Sony's, because you will always be wondering is the sound quality good enough to compensate for the lack of comfort.
@@iAmPaulObelley perfect for me.... Especially the sound is much warmer and deeper than the iPods (my music preference is Soul and R&B). Wel I do already have the Sony WH-1000X M3 in same colour so I know what to expect and I'm not disappointed with my choice. Thxxx and keep up the good work!!!! 🔥 🌶️ 🔥 🌶️
The feeling you have in the morning about wanting to wair them. Might be influenced by marketing and product placement. I loved the video tho. Verry high-quality content and entertaining. Thanks!
I purchased the AirPods Pro only for noise cancellation reason by after trying them on with my iPad sorry to say but the noise canceling was a complete garbage. I then returned the AirPod pro and bought the Sony and it is just perfect. If your #1 concern is noise canceling stay away fro AirPod pros and get the Sony.
Man! The drumroll thing you do when deciding which is better, is awesome! Love your vids as always, keep it up my man!! You’re gonna grow to a big channel, guaranteed...!
Well done, mate 👏This is how a comparison video should be done. Exactly what I was looking for, focusing on the actual usage of a device and not so much on the specs, which I can easily find online or on the back of the packaging. I was this close to get the Sony WTF...1000, but I'm going for the Airpods now as they tick most of the boxes I actually care about. Thanks and keep up the good work
Yo this is a dope review. Besides the actual product themselves You showed personality, detailed explanation and it's entertaining to watch. I can't forget them transitions 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing review!! You have really gone out of the way to make it clear, honest and objective!!. I think you’re gonna go far!. Keep up the excellent work! Regards from Spain
I have the Sony over the ear for that deep musical experience and nothing compares to them 💛. The air pods have water resistance, work out capability and clear phone calls. I was willing to sacrifice some amazing level music quality for that level of utility. And the Sony are less comfortable as an ear bud. So for ear buds it apple and over the ear it’s Sony. Excellent review by the way
When i wore the Sony demo unit on first try, immediately i hated that device for being over-hyped by many and does not perform what i expected it to be and probably consider a market promotional gimmick. First impression i found that it does not fit into my ears directly and not really convenient in terms of comfort. The sound isn't that loud and the quality does not do well comparing to some significantly cheaper true wireless headphones (i am not entirely sure if you need an app to optimize it tho) They sound probably better because of the noise cancellation but that is just my first impression after all. Just go for the WH-1000xm3, it is alot better than both of the Airpod Pro and WF-1000mx3. Well in this case comparing the AirPod Pro, i could easily recommend the Airpod Pro cause Apple did very well on all the aspects especially on general conveniency, comfort and lightness which gives you that feel that you want to use something fast and ready to go kind of device for everyday use. Highly recommend to those who are buying the Sony WF-1000mx3, you should try them out first before you buy them. To those who owned the Sony, don't feel bad cause they still deliver a decent sound quality and cheaper price, sound better by a little margin compare to the Airpod Pro and having that awesome noise cancellation makes it stands out than the rest of the cheaper wireless earbuds out there.
I rarely comment on any video, but I had to when I looked at your views and subs. You're so underrated man. I believe you're gonna be a pretty big tech reviewer, your production quality is insane and I like your tone, you're not a hype-man like most. Keep it up man, you'll get there.
I think this sold me on the AirPods Pro my main use is putting the buds on while doing something and having them not fall off is a big plus even though I would like if they had longer use time
