*READ IF CONSIDERING FINANCING:* Something important that I learned the other day. Yes, Airstreams don't depreciate as much as other trailers-- But lenders follow the exact same NADA depreciation schedule as other trailers, as they lump them all into the simple category of "travel trailers". In example: A 2012 Airstream flying cloud 25' has an NADA value of ~$30,000, but they sell for around $50,000. RV lenders will only give you 110% of a trailers NADA value, which basically means that you would need to take out a personal loan (much higher APR) for an Airstream. Hope this is helpful to someone!

Great video Morton. Does this video mean that you have considered getting an Airstream as your future home or camper? Would it be difficult to find vehicles with enough towing capacity for the heavier campers in Denmark? My biggest issue with Airstream and most other trailers is the width. I have a Casita which is a smaller fiberglass camper and it is a foot or more narrower than most other trailers.

Hi there! Yes, towing is definitely an issue here in Denmark, as we have the highest car-tax in the world, so heavy vehicle, in particular, are expensive. We are considering a lot of things but for now, we will stick with our Hobby camper trailer :)

WHAT ABOUT YOUR OWN WEIGHT THAT CAN BE UP TO 1000 LBS FOR A grope of 5. I love to see someone using a small SUV WITH A V6 it might pull I on flat ground but not on hills or stopping it.

Hi I think there is a structural design problem with these trailers, there is no x bracing in the wall design they are relying on the skin as a major structural component to prevent flexing AND TWISTING that is dumb, the rivets are to far apart and the skin is so thin also the ribs are to far apart . the interior walls have no structural value at all. I would like to see one of these things doing a frame twist and flexed test for a long time. I think they are so over priced it is sick look at the base camp model that is a $2500 trailer without the interior. Also watch YOU TUBE of people trying to restore them there you can see all of the flaws (ITS NOT A GOOD SIGHT)
