This was an India-based series of unbelievable facts like the Ripley's Believe It Or Not. This popular programme received 1000 letters a day while it was on air. SPOTFILMS
Sir, You have made my day. I was in 10th class when this serial was on air. Today when I was referring my 11 years old son regarding this program, I just put the name on Google and found this. You must make sequel but for that you will have to find Monica Lal who was a strong pillar behind its success.
Dear Rakesh Srivastava, Thank you for your comment on our serial. I am glad that you found it nostalgic. The technology has changed in the past few years...our episodes are on a format called Beta SP...our own machines are not in a good condition...it is unfortunate that we may not be able to transfer them to newer technology for uploads...however, I will try my best...keep watching...you never know...I may succeed. Pramod
i was very small at that time...i couldnt understand fully but i used to enjoy the show. those days 1 or 2 homes in neighbourhood had the tv... all kids will gather there...telephone was luxury it was rare...1 in 100 houses use to have...
Dear Z Mirza, Thank you for your comment on our programme. I am happy to hear that even though you were young at that time...you did watch the programme along with the others...very gratifying...thanks Pramod Mathur
Many people send this comment, even though the series was made so many decades ago. It is very heart-warming. zamaana badal gayaa hai...banaane ki gunjaaish nahi rahee. FYI: The Director, Pramod Mathur, passed away in 2020. This is his wife and colleague, Neelima.
I was not there when this serial was aired.I heard about the specialities of this serial from my father and grandfather. It was really a unique serial ever telecasted.I like this very much
thank you kanchu deepi. fyi: mr. pramod mathur passed away on june 2, 2020. he was always particular about responding to the nostalgic comments for aisa bhi hota hai. i will try to maintain that. neelima mathur
Dear Mr. Pramod Mathur thanks for uploading these unforgatble series which we watching in our childhood could you please provide some other programme CD DVD such as karamchand, buniyaad, barister vinod etc etc Or can you upload all these series and some other programme, i like to watched old doordarshan serial, its better than we watching now various channels. thanks
Dear Gangaram Dulani, Thank you for your comment on our programme "Aisa Bhi Hota Hai". Yes, indeed it was one of the most popular programmes at that time and a whole generation grew up watching Doordarshan. Unfortunately, the profession of producing TV programmes has become pure business and those who own TV channels are only interested in making more and more money. The cost of production of our programme was much higer than the programmes that you see on TV channels these days. They do not want to spend anything on creating good content. You, as a viewer have a right to demand better programmes. I am sorry that we will not be bale to put out more episodes of our programme since converting the content to new technology is prohibitive. We were not the producers of Karamchand, Buniad or Barister Vinod hence we will be unable to help with that too. It is best to write to Doordarshan and request them to once again telecast these programmes. You can also write to the Minister Mr. Jetly. Pramod Mathur SPOTFIMS
Gangaram Dulani It has been entirely our pleasure Mr. Gangaram Dulani.Ttimes have changed and in these times sweet memories are all that we have to ourselves as a treasure.
+Vikrant Mathur Dear Vikrant Mathur, sorry to disapoint you. We were not the producers of other serials that you mention. We do not have either the rights or the programmes like Hm Log in our archive. You will have to write to the producers. Best Pramod
Thank you for your email. This series was made in the 1980s for Doordarshan and re-versioned for ZEE as a lauch series when they started. Cannot find dates now! The Director, Pramod Mathur, passed away in 2020. This is his colleague and wife, Neelima.
@@neelimamathur7752 Im so sorry to know that....please accept my sincere condolences. Mr.Mathur did an awesome job by uploading these. I knew it was 80's but don't remember the dates. And that doesn't matter. All it matters that I'm able to rewatch this informative gem of a program. I appreciate M.Mathur's and your efforts. And thank you for taking out time to reply me.
@@aymenkhan7552 My pleasure. We have remained amazed that people recall the programme with such fondness after all this time! So, in a way, feel duty-bound to respond!
@@neelimamathur7752 Of course! This was such a brilliant program that except Surabhi, even with hundreds of TV channels in India today, no other program comes close to being this informative.
Dear Suman Arora, My husband, Pramod Mathur, passed away in June 2020. I try to maintain his protocol of responding to all RU-vid comments. Yes, the Dwarka underwater excavation story was truly exceptional. We all loved it.
@@neelimamathur7752 my heartfelt condolences to you and family.... It is still one of the greatest serials ....few days back we lost another anchor of this show Mr Behel JI...RIP
Dear Mandeep Kaur, Buddha said, "Nothing Ever Remains The Same". There you are. Things in India should have changed for the better in all these years but unfortunately politics and greed spoilt it all for people like you and me. Creativity, honesty and the middle path were the victims in the face of consumerism and crony capitalism. Very unfortunate. I hope things change once again and the content on TV once again becomes more creative. All the best Warmly Pramod Mathur
Dear Pravav Jawale,Thank you for your query. Yes, we do have the remaining episodes. However, they are still in tapes and not converted to digital media. lease read the string of other comments below to understand the reason. It is too expensive and we can't afford the cost for now.Thank you for writing to me.BestPramod Mathur
Is there any such episode of this serial where a himalayan saint with mystic powers was kept in vaccume chamber for 2 hours. And inspite of no traces of him breathing for 2 hours he came out alive. I heard this rumour so just asking.
Its not a myth or rumour, there are so many vairagis in the Himalayan range who are just breatherian and have total control over the breath with many mystic kriyas. .. Go & start from Maha avtar baba ji 🕉️
