i know this has no real meaning as said in the description, but i like to interpret this as an unhealthy relationship (specifically codependency). first things first, the song lyrics are sung by the coyote, both in the video and in this comment. translations of the lyrics (thank you, kikuo subtitle person) the original song is about a girl who craves attention from her peers, so ill kind of be taking inspiration from that "Doesn't it seem like a lie? I like you, who are so filthy!" 0:00-0:08 the coyote represents someone who cannot let go of their partner and relies on them for everything. they put all of their burdens on their shoulders and demand constant attention and affection. the cutesy look of both represents how on the surface, both seem happy and understand each other, but in reality its broken and sour. it can also represent the end of the honeymoon phase in an abusive relationship 0:09-0:22 "Love me. Love me. Love me, I'll give you everything." "I'll have you. I'll have you. Everything, bear everything for me" During this, the rabbit is clearly shown being killed and eaten. lets say this represents the SO is being "consumed" by their partner and the problems they always cause. they feel they need to give their life away to make the other happy. 0:22-0:31 "It's not enough, you're not enough. I won't let go- AH!" the rabbit shaking their head at the coyote, is the SO realizing that they need to end the relationship. when discussing this with their partner, they lashes out once more. getting angry that they refuse to be by their side. that they refuse to be... 'enough.' 0:31-0:34 "I'm so sorry" after taking a step back, the person realizes the damage they've caused their partner. however, its too late to go back, and they know this well

This reminds me of this short animation of where a wolf in the winter killed an entire rabbit family except one and that one rabbit; who is injured, is running away. So that rabbit got caught and the wolf was about to eat it but suddenly had a change of heart and took the rabbit into his mouth and went to a cave. The wolf kinda like nursed the bunny and started to like the rabbit but the rabbit was still wary and trembling. After a day, the wolf gained the rabbits trust but became hungry. And then ate the rabbit and realised they were always gonna be a monster and howled at the end. This aniimation really reminds me of that story and is completely amazing. Great job!

To me this is the story of a coyote who is friends with a rabbit, and he tries to control his instincts so as not to hurt him. But deep down he's still a wild animal.

K this is what I got from the animation: As a younger wolf, the rabbit and wolf were friends. Soon, his hunger overcame the wolf. He didn’t want to hurt the rabbit, but his instincts continued to take over. The circles over the eyes may mean that he was not in control of himself. Continuing on, the wolf almost killed a black rabbit, hurting the white rabbit (his friend) in the process. Soon he returned to the rabbit, only to be denied of friendship. I think this is because the rabbit knows he is older now. The wolf is distraught because he lost a friend. By the expression of the wolf at the end, I think he was either going to kill the rabbit or he was grieving over his mistakes.

Well here's my explanation ig The coyote and rabbit were unusual friends. The rabbit trusted the coyote even though he was a predator and natrually preyed upon rabbits. But one day, the coyote was unsatisfied and he snapped, harming the rabbit. During his healing, the coyote wants to be friends again. The rabbit shakes his head. "You are a monster."

I have a theory. The coyote and rabbit meet when they are young and decide to be good friends despite their natural instinct. One night, the bunny has a nightmare about the coyote killing him. He begins to be distant towards the coyote out of fear for his own life. The coyote is originally hurt by this, but anger over the bunny throwing away their entire friendship takes control of him and he lashes out, attacking the bunny and injuring him severely. The bunny manages to get away and is taken care of by humams - hence the bandages - who adopt him and care for him. The coyote stays his deranged self, and one day the two meet again. The coyote sees what damage he caused to his childhood friend and realizes just what a monster he is when the video ends.

this animation is friggen amazing. here’s my theory on the meaning: it’s a metaphor for toxic but well meaning people. when someone tries their best to be good to the other person, but in reality is doing more harm than good. the wolf was anything but hostile as a pup, and after the rabbit has bandages, the wolf seems remorseful. it didn’t intend to cause damage, but it did.

Finding out u made this was crazy I love your current animations so much and I was obsessed with this one when I was much younger

Everyone's like I disapprove it. They don't see the message. That wolf was a friend of the bunny but then he attack the bunny. He did it cause' his instincts not because he want to. After that he tried to be his friend again but after that nobody (or nobunny) trust him even if he apologize. The words "Aishite, aishite" means "Love me, love me", he wants to be love but every time he has a friend his instincts attack. The ends means "I'm sorry" he always tried to apologize but he never get back his friend. At the end we can see the bunny in black color and the wolf looking at him with a sad expression, it's could mean three things: 1-The bunny is now black cause' now he is damaged. He will never trust someone again, that little white bunny is gone like his innocence and the wolf feels guilty about that. 2-The wolf died, but even in the death the bunny can't forgive him. 3-The bunny forgive him but the wolf can't forgive himself. I think this is a metaphor for the toxic people, they don't try to hurt the others but they can't control themselves (their instincts). Or a toxic relationship, he love the bunny but when they are together he can't control himself and end with the bunny being hurt. Anyway, I really love this animation.
