As someone with the exact same problems as Emily, this is absurd behavior. If you know you're going to leave early, why are you even going there? Either learn to deal or stop making things shitty for everyone else around you.

The real problem is the parents. They're dictating OP's life through Emily. "Oh, you want to do something with your friends, you have to take Emuly with you. Either she goes with you, or you won't go." "Emily doesn't like it here, so you're coming home, too. We don't care what your Camp Councelor says, if Emily doesn't want to stay here, you won't either."

NTA Emily is the golden child OP needs to say "The only thing you are doing by forcing Emily into everything is getting me to hate Emily. You ruined any sort of sibling bonding we could have had and once I leave this house, I will never speak to her again".

The parents are being too good to one child & no doing right by OP ( if OP is even being honest ) . If Emily wasn't so immature - ( partly the parents fault for over catering to her & never telling her no despite knowing how she can barely handle most things ) - I felt just as bad for Emily as I did OP until I heard / read how Emily will be a brat & insist on doing things with OP even knowing full well she is just going to want to leave & OP doesn't want her stringing along & ruining things for her , etc. She knows how OP feels & it seems like Emily doesn't care / hasn't even tried to tough things out and / or be a better sister , she may purposefully makes things difficult for Emily....if OP is being honest , this family is just so self centered ( or in the parents case they care more about Emily than OP ) , I wish we had more info but at the moment I'm going with NTAH unless OP is lying about things or exaggerating
