Here's Sully Tuttle singing the Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong classic "Who Walks In When I Walk Out" Taped by Jay Strausser this past summer at the Ossipee Music Festival in Maine.
Sweet! That sounds a lot like Hot Club music - you know, Django Reinhart. Sully is one of the greatest guitarist and deserves a lot more recognition as such.
Saw them last night in a small saloon in Portland Oregon. This tune killed, now imagine it with a clarinet taking a solo as well, they had a friend sit in on this one. It was fire🔥🔥🔥🔥
BAM! You kids are my obsession since I saw you live a few time this Summer. Can’t wait for all that’s to come. Safe Travels. The sky’s the limit for you all. Tight!
Wow!! This is why I love RU-vid. Always a treasure to be found in the musical realm. Found y'all because I felt like listening to Blue eyed Boston boy. Looking forward to listening to more of your music and hopefully seeing y'all in concert some day.
Why are you all such MF'ing good musicians!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!? Gonna see you in Manitou on Friday, I'm so excited!!!! Just started learning the mando and AJ Lee is my go-to on learning how to make this little guitar sing!
I really hope these guys are making a good living. I know its not always about finance but these guys should be making serious money with talent and ability like that.
As a big fan from Sam's Barbeque, I say Way to go, y'all!! I like the part where different instruments were pairing up for only a measure or two each. The song has great chord progressions. I had to lower the playback speed to hear all of Sully's notes. Sully, please lean in a little closer to the mic, your voice is perfect for this song!
Wow. Sully’s voice is tailor made for this song. And all of the soloing is fabulous, as usual. But Scott Gates hit a GRAND SLAM on this one! And “Stephan “ Jan seems to be a natural at this style.
Sully I hope you make more songs. Blue Summit should feature you way more. You have amazing guitar skills and your singing is unique. You could be a solo artist if you had the confidence. In the meantime more songs please!
