Yeah, that's the point of adding those rules. The likelihood of them succeeding was small, yet there's more possibility for it to happen. In the NFL, that lead with 2 and a half minutes left would be a game ender. No excitement. Here, it's not, and the defense still had to play. It was still a game. W XFL.

Completed 66% of passes, 6-2 TD-int ratio on 120 attempts his rookie year in the nfl, and the bengals or another team never gave him a shot. I thought he could’ve been really good

It felt like he had every major quality Tua Jalen and Mac had combined. If he had a better skill core there was no way he woulda left without a championship

@@generalshadow9027 A. Call was right by the rules, if you have a problem with the rules thats a diff thing. B. San Antonio let up a 4th and 10, 4th and 15 and gave up 15 points in less than 2 mins. Not the refs fault they choked harder than a toddler eating a lego.

@@318lovejones Idk, the BattleHawks were held to 2 first downs the entire first half which is terrible. There were a few times McCarron threw a pass and there was no BattleHawks receivers anywhere in sight. Either the receivers don't know how to run routes, or he doesn't know where to throw the ball. But I'm glad they turned it around in the 2nd half.

Man... McCarron has been around a while. He was the best of the "last generation" of Alabama QBs. The ones where they'd win NCAA championships but weren't good enough to start in the NFL (which went on for like... 20 years). Looking at his wiki, he threw only 109 passes in the NFL... 79 of those in 1 year. Cool to see him starting.

He was good enough to start for the Bengals. He was in his prime but they screwed him over to keep shitty Dalton as starter. By the time he got traded, he was getting older and losing the IT factor. Hopefully he'll have another shot somewhere.
