AJHQ Is Getting Desperate Now.. 

I think the saddest part about it is that they aren’t even just doing the “paid partnership” with only Jambassadors anymore. Like seriously, what’s the point of being a Jambassador now if ANYONE can participate in these? 😭 They’re such a weird company I stg

I feel like Animal Jam might be ending soon. AJHQ is getting extremely desperate at this point. Paying people to advertise their game is just a big oof. I actually quit after my account got hacked into and everything I worked hard to get disappeared.

its stupid they're so willing to throw money at the problem instead of fixing it. they could easily apologize for the nft stuff, get better moderation and security, work to improve their game.. but nah its not worth it for them.. pride costs more than cash it seems

Maybe if they add actually new features to Animal Jam Classic, it will draw more people back than a free week of membership.

Its because of the clear failure of Cinder, and Fer.al, that they're scrambling to have money made from their flagship title... I don't feel sorry for the company at all, there were so many oppertunites to fix their mistakes, they never did any of that, and now I have to stand here and show them no mercy when they come back with their tails between their legs!

To be fair, some of the Jambassadors are minors, so without some kind of parental consent, they can't pay those people with real money. They're already toeing the line on child labor laws as it is. It's entirely possible those jammers were paid with sapphires instead. And in regards to them paying people who aren't Jambassadors, we have to keep in mind there are several different audiences that AJ caters to now, not all of which follow the Jambassadors or AJHQ, so getting others to get the word out to their own audiences would probably help. That all being said, they should have gone about it a different way. Maybe making one or two larger collabs with a group of people and having them all spread the same video would have worked just fine.

I think AJ might be coming to an end since they gave out the free membership. Usually games only do it before shutting down.

Hey! Just clearing some things up that I noticed in the video. Not trying to come across rude or anything so I apologize if it does! EVERYONE in the collab gets paid. There is nobody getting a short end of the stick, we all signed the same contract and the payment will be given to anyone who's done any form of AJPLAY posts on any platform. Some people however did not read their contracts correctly and didn't specificy thst its a paid partnership, or some of their instagrams don't have the feature? Not sure the case on it, but I can assure you everyone is getting paid that would be so unfair if they didn't do that, so I totally see where you're coming from. Additionally, I think its an amazing way to gain some fallen people from the community back, some people think its desperate but they have to realize we are adults with jobs and have things going on. If they're going to want us to come back some form of payment is going to have to happen. However, that being said, me personally I was going to come back regardless but a little bit of money definitely sparked creativity and that pretty much goes for anyone else involved. I don't think it's desperate I think they just acknowledge that we are grown adults who need financial compensation to live and I appreciated they actually went through with it and helped me so much with my bills when I was in a rough time with this. Lastly, I think its an amazing idea to include people outside of the community in this promotion, it allows the community to feel loved and welcomed and that their talent is recognized and appreciated and offers a different audience to come together and play the game. Once again, this is just my personal opinion, but I thought this was a perfect marketing idea, just some people weren't as creative as expected (which that I agree with the constant same post like come on a company is looking at that let's be creative, it says to be creative!) It just was a way to feel some jammers out and see if they're capable of handling this kind of stuff (paid promotions).

They're doing it because AJ knows people are leaving... Sigh.

I want to say that the 2 weeks was enough to get my fill and delete the game again. There's so many features in Play Wild that essentially makes you spend weeks playing their games to have a sliver of fun or you have to constantly pay. The alpha chest hunting is ridiculously hard to find, you have to spend a week or two nurturing your pets to send them back on expeditions, the phantom howl/ mira statues takes up thousands of paintseeds & the prizes drop %'s don't feel worth it half the time. I can go on & on but I already typed so much. Animal Jam just feels nothing more than a time sink to me nowadays.

Aww I remember when I would play the PC version, I had one of every color of long spike collar and one of every headdress except for the pink headdress. If you played the PC version years ago then you know what that means. It’s sad what the game has turned into

Although this is just an idea, I think the reason they aren't paying jambassadors is since they are jambassadors so they could say that since they are jambassadors they can do it for free since they are meant to be positive and help the community. This is fully speculation though.

AJHQ is doing these BC they WANT MONEY... They are trying to attract new players like: Free animal and limited cool features! They started being lazy on modeling the animals.. thats sad, AJ was rlly nice in 2018-2019 years(thats my mind)

Also can we talk about how the shops havent had items in them for so long that theyre almost completely empty? Not sure if thats how its supposed to be... but the membership shop on the island and on mt shiveer havent had a new item since i JOINED the game (just a little after fer.al's shut down) whats going to encourage these new players that theyre trying to desperately to pull in to stay? there's nothing available in the shops for people to customize their avatars with they'll be forced to immediately pay money for sapphires if they want to get any items (which they likely wont do.. .theyll just quit)

man I havent been on this game in YEARS (this video popped up in my recommendeds) But I remember when the game was a 2D web browser game and the pillow room in the game wasn't the pillow room, it was a medic's hut, and the kimbari outback area didn't even exist. Heard about the Feral fiasco as well, this is a shame. This game got me through a pretty rough time in my life. Maybe I'll revisit it for old time's sake

OMG LEAMON you've read my mind!! I've been thinking the exact same thing, and I think they're also doing this for money too. They should know that you're way more likely to go the easy route to buy membership instead of patiently saving if you've got a taste of it! And I'm not sure about this, but I think I heard they boosted the price of membership to 800 sapps!!! That's a whole lot! I mean I get that membership boosts your sapphires so it makes sense, but wow. I already had membership before this may update and was planning to renew it and now I have to double my original saving amount. Not to mention how many new updates they made that costs a questionable amount of sapphires too.

Listening to this while I play an Animal Jam adventure is quite something. I saw your Instagram story and yeah they're definitely going a little bit too crazy over their promo. I never followed Animal Jam to begin with - because I don't really use Instagram that often other than to communicate with you and other Jammers that I look up to - so I haven't been seeing these posts on my timeline but your story did make me check it out and honestly it's driving me away from following them at all now because I don't want what is essentially spam in my timeline. Ever since I knew where AJ was headed, I quit. It’s honestly so sad and depressing to see animal jam die so quickly. I remember when me and my best friend would always play Aj together, and my other best friend! Me and her even made VIDEOS together! All the people, the community, used to be so bright and big, all of that, all the hard work anyone has ever done on that game.. it just went away as the community died down and became more toxic. It wasn’t that big of a deal at first, and there WAS hope for the AJ community as a whole, even the website to become better and get on the right track. But now, I don’t see that. Maybe 4-3 of my friends on Aj played each day. That was it. Back then when AJ was HUGE and really popular, I’d have more than 50 friends online! Speaking of friends,it makes me really upset knowing that I have to leave all those wonderful people behind. They were apart of my childhood and formed a special place in my heart for Aj. And now, that place for AJ? Nothing but abandon. Instead of the AJ team trying to listen to the AJ community, they decide to throw money at any problem. AJ was the only game I could come to not having to worry about money, and all that other crap. It just seems like there’s no future for Aj at all and it honestly makes me sad thinking that I looked up to everyone in this community the most and now I’m having to leave it behind..

at this point with wildworks being wildworks there’s very little they’ll be able to do to salvage aj lmao, everyone knows they’re not a great company who abandoned feral’s community for nfts and aj classic is barely playable without membership, and their membership fees are so crazy expensive that almost no one is willing to pay it.

The reason why I got back to playing Animal Jam is because I missed the good old days when I used to play it as a young teenager, now here I am as a 23 year old woman playing it not just to remember the good old days but I’m turning my OCs into story characters for a comic I’m working on as we speak!

I feel like Jambassasors (if I spelt that right) aren't just promoters, they are real people who enjoy the game and want to help it and that's why they tried SO hard to get the role! They try more than ever to become one cause they really like the game and want to help it and be a part of it. And they don't just feel that way, they also have online friends and do trades just like us. If Aj had to abandon their Jambassasors for other random jammers who didn't really want or needed that role in the first place instead of asking the people who supported and helped them forever and have that be their job without needing to really be paid then Aj has already made almost the entire fandom, even the Jambassasors, hate them. Even if we still play the game Aj has made so many terrible mistakes and stabbed people in the back so many times that everyone just hates them. The play the game for fun now z not to help them. Aj is turning into the worst company ever that I cannot describe how much I hate them right now. They already did enough harm I hate them so much.

The saddest thing is the reports be ignored when you play the game. And there’s hackers and Scammers still. Even jammers get their stuff stolen. Cuz their money was going down cuz there’s a person who stole and hacked the game in early October. So AJhq is literally being driven crazy by this person taking their money.

Ajhq being desperate, hm.. maybe they should've thought of that before they betrayed one of their entire communities.

They have always been desperate even for money, this happened around 2014 when I was a kid, my dad had paid for me a 2 month membership i believe. but half way through he said he needed to cancel it since he couldn't afford it, animal jam responded in terminating my account and said in the same email they have children at heart. i haven't touched animal jam since because all they want is your money, they don't give a shit about kids even though they claim it. I haven't watched the video but I saw your thumbnail and already somewhat knew half of the story. People need to boycott animal jam, its not a game that you want kids playing.

If they want to draw attention to the game doing it through other animal Jam instagramers won't do much if someone doesn't play animal Jam they're not going to follow animal Jam Instagram. The best thing they should do is up their advertising, put more money towards commercials and ads on RU-vid as well as other platforms. Create merch, and get their game advertised to the younger generation.

I can see why this can be triggering to some jammers and yes, aj have been promoting it ALOT Although to me its somewhat cool although yes like i said they’ve been promoting it alot to be honest quite a bit more than needed. I’m on both sides of this as i’ve seen many jammers do these kinds of posts but make it more unique and interesting which i find awesome cause then its not fully the same thing over and over.

If anyone can create posts for AJHQ about AJPLAY and get paid for it, it indicates that the community is serious about bringing Animal Jam back to its former glory (when all the rage was happening years ago). I absolutely understand and agree with you, Leamon! I keep getting bombarded with AJPLAY postings one after the other, and I decided to join in on the fun. But I declined since I had no idea where to begin XD Plus, the month is almost finished, so it doesn't make much sense to write the post now. And i agree! It seemed a little unfair that random people were being paid instead of the true jambassadors; I even noticed that some old jambassadors were returning to the game (like bepper on her recent post). But, at this point, who knows what the days hold for AJHQ XD

I have a question, are they still letting jammers become Jambassadors? It was my dream to be one but even if I never got it I love making videos and I work my tail off for it too, not saying the Jambassadors don't they certainly do, but did AJPW stop people from sending requests of becoming a Jambassador or are they doing it next year, cause I've seen multiple videos of people complaining that they didn't become Jambassadors, and if this is the deal, or not, what day does AJ expose the new Jambassadors, do old Jambassadors don't count anymore? Like what about Wisteria what if she didn't quit.. I don't quite understand.

This is the first animal jam video ive watched in years- like, since the Aparri, Wisteriamoon, Bepper, Julian2, etc. era came to a close, I stopped watching. It was simply because I felt the newer ones didn't have the same nostalgic charm, or that the new era started when I stopped playing animal jam so often. It's been devastating to hear yet another example of how Wildworks as a company, the company that just about raised me for YEARS on their game, is just devolving. From the fer.al scandal to this, it's just so sad. I don't play as regularly anymore, but I feel like I should be getting in a few plays now. I have no doubt that this game is to end in the coming years. It can't last much longer with the money Wildworks is losing and the fanbase Wildworks lets down every day.

Honestly I think the jammers who were in AJHQ’s posts even wanted to do a collab with AJHQ of the promo code because most of the posts I’ve seen from AJHQ are thumbnails from jammers who made video about the promo code and honestly I’m not sure if after non-jambassadors uploaded their video along with their thumbnails was asked by AJHQ, or if AJHQ posted those thumbnails with no permission but I hope they asked permission because then AJHQ just pretended they joined the promo code collab. Also, it’s sad that it isnt only for jambassadors, because if non-jambassadors can collaborate too, and it’s not jambassadors only, what’s the purpose of being a jambassador? All that happens being a jambassador is being famous and crowded by tons of jammers. Nothing much, just being known a lot by AJHQ, being in AJHQ’s videos, thats really all. Being a jambassador can be someone’s dream but honestly it is a bit boring. There isnt much to do

This is really sad, and I also feel sorry for them. They’ve probably been losing a lot of players too due to the feral/cinder situation, but that has nothing to do with animal jam. Animal jam is my childhood, and the fact that I still play BOTH of the games today is just crazy, after everything that’s been happening. If they want to bring back old players, the trick is to bring water lands into the game. Surely that’ll work.

Honestly animal jam has degraded over the past view years. I have only ever played the mobile play wild version. I remember when there were treasure hunts no member only items, non purchasable animals etc and it just got worse over time, at first it was great when old animals started coming back but then member only items were added then the new land and it’s just too much like the desk top versions, all anyone does is promote their shops, no one roleplays anymore almost none of my friends play anymore because they quit and well I quit. I wish animal jam didn’t get worse because I used to love this game so so so much
