Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

I could be wrong, but it has to be one of the fastest to start-up in DCS. You just have to wait for the CK37 to power up or you could be taxing in 15 seconds.

The aircraft on standby for alert are generally already equipped with a specific cartridge, so in case of an alert the pilot can takeoff in minimal time

All the data cartridge does is store waypoint data. If you don't need waypoints you in theory don't need the cartridge. Speaking from experience the plane flies fine without.

If the viggen had more air to air options I'd use it in multiplayer for sure. So nice to fly and had an actually really nice waypoint system

Its the AJS-37 or the "Attack Viggen" a strike variant of the Viggen. Sweden did also build the JA-37 or the "Hunting Viggen" a fighter variant of the Viggen.

@@kirgan1000J is for jakt (hunt, i.e. fight), A is did attack (attack), and S is for spaning (surveillance? Reconnaissance?). Which is why Gripen is JAS, because it’s a multi role plane and all that. Pretty much the same as the US F, A, B, E, U, SR, etc system.

I mean in the civilian world, taxi when aircraft is moving, anti collision before starting, nav lights during dusk to dawn. Obviously in combat things differ hehe

if you want to be realistic the collision light goes on before engine startup to alert people on the ground that the aircraft has an engine running e.i don't walk behind or infront of it plus loud noise

Load a mission data cartridge, something that's much to complicated for eagle dynamics to implement. Yet, a third party dev managed to shoehorn it into the game in the Viggen and Tomcat.

at 0:25 Altitude mode is incorrect: RHM is the Radar altimeter and LD is barometric and you'd only switch to LD if there was a fault with the radar

This is mission dependent. Pilots fly in barometric altitude. You would use radar for missions though
