Riding the bolt. Check. 19 round "mag dump". Check. Has to jump cut after every shot because it kept jamming. Check. Most likely using underpowered ammo or HPs. Check. Yeah this is a certified shilling moment.
@@BlackeyeVukmaybe. but riding the bolt could make it jam + I personally dont trust whatever ammo hes got in there. show me a test with reputable ammo and I'll believe it
Death Severe pain and possible internal bleeding from shattered ribs Shi it’s a dilemma cuz I don’t wanna die but I don’t want my ribs to be non existent 🤣
No they are like shut up about your ribs are done. Young dolph survived 100 shots from the same gun like 42 rounds to his chest armour he didn’t even have a fractured rib or anything shut up with all this rib bullshit you don’t even own a firearm be honest 😂
$2k for soft armor that can't stop a $180 mosin, endorsed by a guy who racks an ak on safe, and shops at toys r us for his shirts. Hard pass, these guys are smoking crack.
@@keegangustafson193 Bro thinks an ak has 50BMG I mean you don't have to be a gun nut to know an ak doesn't have the same cartridge as a sniper rifle buddy
The red flex armor is in the vest itself. The blue plate is in a pocket on top of the vest. It’s an additional piece, just like some spec ops dudes were soft armor under their plate carrier.
Lads every plate carrier has a soft stab resistant layer as inner lining in this case its red.. the outer "plate" is the bullet proof blue layer. Don't need to be "specs ops" my old army one had em and so does my Police one.
@@DayneJ93 I get that, but why show the bulletproof layer beforehand only to show the inner lining after? Show the same plate!!! We want to see the damage on the actual plate that stopped the rounds!
@@The_Poseidon that's probably the only thing I don't agree with. If you only write a single sentence, the purpose of punctuation, distinguishing between the end of a previous and the star of the next sentence, is just not needed, so why bother? Proper grammar is important for other reasons, so that is a must, punctuation, not so much
Yes when you rack the bolt with the rifle on safe (yugo m70) you actually empty the chamber without loading a round, so in his stupidity he made the rifle safe
@@johnjimmy8385 yes it is ,but this one in the video is newest production Zastava for US market, you can see that it lacks the gas cutoff and it has specific buttstock shape, also it has optic rail witch many original yugos didn't have, i have my original war yugo that belonged to my father in bosnian war it was made in Kragujevac Factory in '89 M70 ab2 , also i found and bought one made in milled one '74 m70b with rail for night operation optic
It did appear to be closer. There’s a way to check that using knowns in the video. For instance, the length of the AK, the height of the dummy and the height of the shooter. Using that combination there’s a program that can calculate the distance… or someone can just do the math I suppose. I’m not that too with math.
Didn't think it would require this much brain power to visualize what I was saying, but hey its RU-vid. No I'm not saying no armor is the way to go. (Although a good argument could be made) what I am saying I most of yall think it's Warzone out here and that the bullets will always hit the plates. Armor only covers MAX 25% of your body. And also most people when their heart rate is 220 and have shit in there pants aren't gonna be stone cold aiming center mass. They are just gonna shoot at your silhouette. Which last time I checked legs lower torso, hips, arms, shoulders, and head are a part of. All very squishy, all very much when shot will inhibit your ability to stay in a fight.
@Mandumoto the point of armor is not to take hits and stay in the fight. The point of armor is to stop a kill shot. As your fellow soilders back you up. Being shot in the heart or lungs will take you out the fight alot faster then being shot in the leg. I would never go with no armor. I litteraly can't see any reason to not wear armor. The weight is a pain but it's better to have bad knees then a rotting corpse.
@@wight626 1st, who said anything about fellow "soldiers" civilian use of armor is up a ton, and armor is no longer just limited to mil/Leo use. Second with this argument I assume you where lvl 4 plates in an IOTV in everyday life? My argument against armor is its just not applicable in 99% of life, even the smallest carriers are too big for a nuggy run. If you don't have the physical fitness to be able to move effectively in armor yes. Go without it.
@@top_hat_walrus1860 I attempted to look through this channels catalog to find the video of them shooting this armor with 5.56 ball but I couldn't find it. Could you please link a video to confirm?
Honestly, I wish they'd sponsor a proper mag dump. I'd love to rapidly dispense 30 Soviet seeds into their ceramic "honeycomb" plate to see how it holds up
@@bigtoesman Their FRAS plate has a ceramic honeycomb as a strike face, but I don't believe 30 rounds from a rifle would be stopped. Still dead meat, but they can keep their "advanced technology" to themselves...
@@alonerock161 for most Ak pattern rifles yes you have to put the weapon on fire in order for you to pull the charging handle far enough to the rear for the bolt to catch a round after you release the handle
I took 3, it didn't break my ribs but I had bruised my chest and back pretty bad. 1 to my chest, 2 to my back. Yes it sucked, that's with a complete IBA on!
Personally, I'd rather not take another 25 shots after my vest already took 19 rounds. To be fair though, that's really impressive for soft armour. 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, you kept the built from penetrating, but how many broken ribs do they have that would most likely penetrate the heart or lungs. But all said and done good on you for making a vest that will withstand a AK
@wtf ur looking at? I know it's not as powerful as .308, but I know what 7.62x39 sounds like. I own a SAR-1 AKM that is chambered in 7.62x39. I've shot it many times, and from my own experience the ak in the video doesn't sound like it's shooting 7.62x39. I could be wrong though. He could have edited the sound to make it quieter.
Apparently every AK is an AK-47, a rifle made in 1947. That there is an AKM, upgraded AK-47 design from the 50's, more accurately the Zastava M70 from yugoslavia judging by the handguard. This problem also applies to the AK-74, a 1974 rifle, completely different firing system, bolt, mag, barrel and muzzle. Same look, different design. Also, guy somehow racked that bolt while it was flicked to safety.
The problem there is, although the rounds don't penetrate, there's still the problem of ENERGY TRANSFER which will then be transferred into the wearer's body resulting in massive bruising on the body due to massive internal hemorrhaging or bleeding which will still result in eventual death. Unless you're using anti-trauma pads of either hydrogel or, better still, aerogel to disperse & disrupt that energy transfer to the wearer's body, you're just aiming for a massive bruising that'll eventually kill you.
@@fredhercmaricaubang1883 the idea is don’t get shot in the first place. If it does happen fras stops a sucking chest wounds. Trauma pads, wrap around armor etc, stop blunt force trauma . Best bet don’t get shot if you can help it. Or be as nimble as possible to run into cover
Did you not see the soft body armor behind to do just that? That’s what the red colored armor is. The FRAS plate goes over the soft body armor.. There is always going to be energy transfer regardless. But this is legit the best on the market.
When you say mag dump, I was expecting full auto. When I only get semi auto, I was expecting at least 30 rounds in the mag. Double disappointment in one short video. Amazing!
I love to see some way of showing what the impact on the person is like versus what the impact on the body armor is. Cuz to me that's the advantage of a steel plate in the situation what the person feels
Thing is, the armour might be okay, but you certainly wouldn't be from having 19 7.62 rounds fired into your chest from 25 feet away regardless of how good your armour is
If you notice that there is a jump cut between each shot. No ejection, the camera angle is so that you cant see it. There is less flame than from any ak ive seen. And very little recoil. This man is shooting subsonic, which is basically pointy pistol ammo.
First the ak sounds like a electric airsoft gun bruh lmao. The armor plate magically went from blue to red, there is a cut between each shot and he is firing with the safety on. His reload and bolt cocking is an obvious sign that he got 3 years of military service from the back of a cereal box and apparently a mag dump is semi auto and 19 bullets.
