I've been travelling with and otherwise occupied by work for quite a while, but I'm back now. Here's my first jam since returning. I'm a bit rusty and couldn't remember how to music or Force. But getting back into it...
Your musical ideas are very diverse and always unpredictable. Short pieces, experiments of all kinds, and it's always beautiful. I hope you'll continue like this for many more years.
Cheers Matt! Yeah I think 2-3 mins is ideal for performance videos. I sometimes bounce stems out and chuck them into Ableton if I want to develop it a bit more…
@@ikarugamoo I like using Scaler 2 + something like Pigments or Playbox in Ableton to create a chord progression, then resample that, chop it up and turn it into a melodic drum rack and bring it into Force and do everything else there. That’s been my usual starting point for a while now…
Interesting way of working. Been thinking how to utilise my Mac as a source which I then bang over to the Force outside of straight sampling. Which I quite like doing for that old skool vibe rather than chucking samples on the SD card, sample out of something into the Force.
