I render out a kick drum and my vocal as a wav file from DAW software I use called ‘RENOISE’ - usually a 16, 32 or 64 step pattern rendered out as a wav file. I note the tempo and set the Arturia Keystep Pro sequencer to the same, the MPX-8 gets triggered from the drum seq on the KSPro always at the start of a bar - playing the aforementioned wav file I created earlier. I then add additional hardware synths to this as I jam. Hope this helps & makes sense 😮
