Doing a trans fluid change will also help with 2nd and 3rd gear grind/pop out. I changed mine out with Amsoil Syncromesh and I have yet to have any grind or pop out again. Its been about a year and a half

Im loving this build but im bias because i have a 8th gen as well. I got my vtec coming in at 4550 but she mint tuned by Morrisonbuilt. Also i got my VSA turned off so its full send all the time. Keep it coming man love all your content.

You can actually live tune, but you only have a limited amount of memory with which you can select which maps you want to make live editable. For example 0°vtc fuel and ignition maps. Any other changes will have to be hard flashed.

You know what’s crazy ? The 2nd gear grind is still present in the 10th gen at least for me, when I’m doing a rolling 1st gear pull and shift into second my shit grinds, it’s mad annoying and I’m stock so it’s not cause of an increase of power.

I was told to use the AEM V2 CAI (MAP) based when running the hybrid cai. And my FA5 ran pretty well, I only kept it for a few months before I got a professional tune

@@alexmartinez1476 No, do not modify the tables. create a new calibration for the 8th gen si > show filters > show race calibrations > select the MAP Based tune with only the AEM V2 CAI...flash!

Quick question bro i have a 2007 8th gen si, i have stock air intake, tsudo headers + tsudo catback. My question is what kind of basemap am i supposed to run? Im thinking about running the CAI,skunk2 headers+ catback since its both similar specs but is it gonna run funny with the cai base map with the stock air intake ? Help plz kinda new to hondata

Hi Zosh, I'm in California and 91 octane is the highest available here. Do you have any tune for sale with 91 octane? I have 08 civic si plm header, hybrid racing cai, full race exhaust and flashpro. Basemap I'm using causes check engine light and pings the motor. Any info is much appreciated thanks!
