I said that in Cumberland Farms a few weeks ago to a guy saying he just got his marriage license that day. Not sure if he didn't get it or what. Deer in the headlight look. HA. Some "Snowflakes " didn't appreciate it though. NO sense of humor now a days. It's to bad.
@@mediahits9683 NOPE! Donald Trump keeps marrying all these useless dumb bitches. A man of his stature, wealth and power should keep piping 18-25 year old pussy every day of the week.
Marcy: Violence on TV desensitizes people. Al: Well so does marriage and they haven't cancelled *that* yet! -One of many jokes from this show that I didn't get when I was a kid but it makes PERFECT sense now.
@@reoencarcelado5904 not if she's dead. (Just in case - for those who didn't watch the show, this is from the same show) Who's that riding across the plain? Who's lost count of the wives he's slain? Who's the man who's plumb insane? Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad!
@@novembercherry4 Yes, she really was unbearable during the last few seasons. I think the writers let Marcy win a bit too much in the last years. That might have something to do with allowing Amanda Bearse having a little too much input in the scripts, at least from what I've heard.
@@neilparmar5705tell them: ⬇️ 1. “it’s CHEAPER! 2. “i can’t afford it.” 3. “my wallet can’t take it.” 4. “my blood-pressure wouldn’t withstand-it.” 5. “i can’t take the drama.” and any other you can come-up with.
It's very funny but very true [''Marriage is like a besieged city, those who are outside want to enter, those who are inside want to come out'' (Arab Saying)]. The best part are when Al Bundy says it's stupid to get married and why marriage license can't expire.
That is a good question. Why can't a Marriage licenses expire ? It would bring down the divorce rate. Couples would get a choice to renew their Marriage licenses or move on.
This show was funny because marriage really does suck. Thats why i never want to marry. You just end up getting stuck with someone you learn to hate. And if you get divorced it costs you hours in courts and fees and if you have kids together it gets even uglier. Its almost just easier to sit there and be miserable together
Me to Marcy if I were Al: "My point to you, overbearing Karen, is who died and made YOU queen? Who are you to decide what people should or shouldn't watch? Don't like the show, don't watch it. But you don't have to spoil it for everyone who don't share your point of view." Then I'd finish it off with a chicken joke, lol.😆
I watched this show when the first episode aired. I didn't like it. I had spent years watching shows like Cosby and Family Ties - everybody loves each other. This show was completely different. I couldn't stomach such an awful family. But, Kelly kept me coming back, and it became one of my all time favorite shows.
impossible, u can't be married and mgtow at the same time, that's the very core of mgtow, do not get married, go your own way... u really don't have the first clue of what mgtow is do u, u think it's just someone who criticizes women and marriage huh, clueless noob... merely criticizing women, feminism and marriage does not make one mgtow, not even red pilled, it makes u mra or purple pilled perhaps but that's it
@@daleva187goligo but u gotta understand al grew up in the 60s when it was common to get married. Their wasn't much information about women and relationships. But once he learned the truth he started no ma'am and warned other men about marriage. So he gets a pass do to the fact he's from a different generation and started no ma'am.
Woke person: everything about cancel culture I’ve heard always desensitizes people! Me: Well, so is the conditions of living with your parents for the rest of your life, and they haven’t canceled that yet!
6This show WAS ahead of it's time. Today domestic human sex trafficking is thriving. I bet with confidence, that men who recruited for this show certainly lurred woman for "modeling jobs" who ended up trafficed into porn and prostitution. The show itself wove cheap soft porn scenes into many episodes. The time period when it aired took prostitution on video to new levels. Shows like this made cheap porn free to the public, unavoidable for children, and forced hard prostitution on film to increase it's intensity to regain its novelty. Of you thinl this show made its money on good comedy, you are wrong.
Anybody got the clip where he is playing a a board game with the family and he drifts off into a dream and the voice of his high school buddy comes in and mentions something about rocking the pleats off the cheerleaders skirts please
Marcy was an absolute BITCH in this episode. I like to think that, after the show ended, Jefferson dumped her for a younger and more sexier woman (and one with a much more appealing personality than Marcy), and wiped out Marcy's bank account to boot. Would serve her right. I didn't like that Marcy almost always won and had her way in her battles with Al in the last few years of the show. If it's true that Amanda Bearse had a say in this, then no wonder Ed O'Neill had no use for her. There really should have been more of a 50-50 in their feud, Al won a few, lost a few. Marcy won a few and lost a few. Would have the show a bit more balanced.
