Didn't expect what just happened.....while laughing my ass off I started crying.......my late mother and I used to watch this show every Sunday night. Thanks for the good memories!
@Rasul Daniels but Michael Moye did'nt create or casting Griff, but looking back It was too late to added him 3 seasons before it ended Griff is not like Al Bundy
@@claudiachasman8307 Sweet and adorable? LOL he was funny and maybe had an ounce of a softer side but Griff had no chill just like Al and the rest of the No Ma'm gang lol
Indeed, what would Al be without Jefferson and Griff? Nothing against Steve but al really needed a couple of chums, one to be miserable with, and one who seeks to exploit any of his successes without second thought.
This show was hilarious but al and griff were a match made in heaven. I just wish that griff had come sooner in the series. I see in other comments they call griff al’s sidekick. I say he was Al’s equal and they just took each other to a new level. Thanks for the laughter guys
Honestly the most beautiful part of their relationship was that everybody knew that Al was white, and Griff was black, except Al and Griff. They both knew that the enemy was the wives!
@gothatway09 actually there is an episode where he makes friends with a gay guy who's husband is always out dancing with Peggy, and he comes over to talk to Al.
lmao yeah I always tell 'em the truth, I'm 3 inches hard, but chicks don't believe it, they think I'm larger hahahaha so it workstot my advantage hahahahaa
You know when they add extra characters, the show declines in its quality. But Griff and Jefferson made the later seasons legit. This show was truly a gem
I am not from usa and that was the show which shows me that u.s.a. folks were the coolest people then it changed. I miss good old school and brilliant humour cause we tasted it. and Al & Griff best moments thanks for the upload
I live in USA and I thought families were just like that, my family wasn't the exact but very close to this family and so when I branched out into the world I found out I was wrong, I'm 27 now and I still watch it and remind myself of the good ol days. I'm happy to hear that this show was popular over seas as well
This show was the best. I came to America in 1988. The show had first aired in 87… I caught up once they showed reruns. Every Sunday night, we’d be planted in front the tv.
"I'd say that to your face but my car only has half a tank of gas!" This line is the best example of him channeling Rodney Dangerfield. Long live the King.
Model- vote for me and ill married you Griff- Al, im voting for Angelia my new wife and dont you try to stop me Al- now look what happen to you,...... see what you made me go thru, i didn't want to do it.
It's funny, in the 90s the Republicans were the boring one while the president was getting head and playing saxophone. Now the Democrats are the boring ones while the president is peeing on bitches and playing golf. Wild eh?
This is great writing that you will never get anywhere or anymore. Even if they tried it won't be the same. It's like trying to microwave French fries.
MWC is the only show I know that poked fun at LGBT but wasn't necessarily homophobic. That's what I love about it. I think people who get offended by Al miss the point. He is crude on purpose. He's not PC by any means, but he's not really a bigot either. He's an ass but he's a likable one.
"Homophobic" - That is a fake, made up word that communists made up to shut up legitimate criticism of all the crap the communists have done to our country.
Al complains about every one equally. Hes the low man on totem pull of life and hates every one above him because at one point he was king of his world but now hes the butt of every one elses jokes.
This is the Greatest Sitcom that was ever and has ever been made to come out of the USA. The Usa has made so many great Sitcoms over the years however, this is the Greatest. This sitcom - is loved by all Americans - whether Black, White, Asian and other races within the country. To prove this - look at the hundreds of Reactions to Married with Children on YOU TUBE as against other Sitcoms.... It was that good!
I wish I was an adult in the 90's. Women were allowed to be pretty and dress up, and men were allowed to be manly. Now, I get ridiculed by fat smurfs with tattoos saying that I'm an embarrassment to women because I want to do things for my man like cook, clean, etc. Edit: two years later and I still feel the same. I want to spoil my man but I don’t want to be expected to be a maid. I want to surprise him with a nice meal and buy him things too.
no you do not want that take it from me I was 22 in 1992, yes freedom,,, own apt,,, but the downside,,,,,COCAINE,,,, YOUNG LADY, I WENT TO WORK AND THE WIFE USE,,,, YES A LOT OF IT,,,,,,,, DROVE ME MDA,, AT WORK AND WAS SCARE SOMETHING WAS TO HAPPEN HER...... PS YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMEN,,,,,,
harold sylvester should have been the star of married with children- the last 3 years of the show he was on- i remember the 1st time he was on- he met david- he was at the shoe store- he kept bugging david as he was studying- soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funnyyyyyyyyyyyyy way to introduce him- but- he alsooooooooooo was on a different world as kadeem hardison's dad!
"I'd say it behind your back but my car got only half a tank of gas" Bhahaha.....man, priceless line from Al! Miss this show and the good old non-PC days.
Al and Griff were brothers in adversity. They were good friends who had each others' backs when trouble showed up. This is probably one of the best sets of multiracial buddies in a 1980s or 1990s tv show.
