I would like to thank all those who have received much pleasure from viewing this video and have sent me kind comments about it. التصوير كان بنفس السنه الي انولدت فيها انا من سكان سلوى التابعة للاحساء لكن اهلي كانوا متواجدين بالخبر بسبب شغل الوالد و حصل اني انولدت بالخبر.... عشقي و حبي لها
الفيديو هذا قبل ولادتي بسنة تقريباً ،. ورغم ذلك تآثرت كثيراً بالمقطع ،. فيه اشياء شفتها بالمقطع لازالت موجودة حتى الآن ،. وفي اشياء موجودة في الفيديو ماعاد له اثر ك توي تاون مثلاً 💔 ،. الفيديو هذا خلاني اشعر بالفخر إني من سكان هذي المدينة الجميلة ( الخبر ) لبساطة المدينة سابقاً ونهضتها العمرانية الملحوظة حالياً ،. واتمنى من امانة الشرقية التواصل مع صاحب القناة وتكريمه على هذه الهدية الغالية اللي قدمها لسكان مدينة الخبر ،. فعلاً حركت مشاعرنا ❤️❤️

How amazing is this video. This is a blast from the past. I teared up watching this. I'm an Egyptian born Dammam, my father was an engineer working for an American company. He used to take us to Khobar on the weekends. Khobar was larger than life bright lights and fancy malls and stores. The Meridian hotel was a beauty, still exists. We used to go to Safeway (Tammimi markets) supermarket and KfC in the Same plaza. We also went to Al Shula mall 12:53 and then Toy Town. I also remember Souls Supermarkets 16:59 It was some of the happiest times of my life. We left Saudi Arabia for the United States in 1992 and we're still here. Thank you so much for uploading this., You've put a big smile on my face. ❤️

I hope you enjoyed your stay there, I think such experiences change a person’s perspective towards lots of things in life and you really grow as a result. Thank you so much for this video, it means a lot for Saudi’s from Alkhobar and Dhahran, i was in high school in 1988. I wish the family are in good health and visits Saudia again and do another recording with the kids who become older now in the same roads and streets. Great blast from the past. Brings back memories for me of Friday morning shopping trips to Tamimi (Sameway) Market with my family when the kids were still small in the early 2000s. That and going to the old Azzi Panda in Dhahran.

Born and raised in الخبر 1982/ moved to North Dakota and never came back to that city, your Video made me cry because the only fun back there was to drive the car and grab some food from small shops. My late mom was alive with us and this video made me feel like a child again and she is next to me. Thanks to you and may Allah bless you and your family ❤

Thanks for this video it relive the stories of my father on the downtown side, those pictures of his is now a still moving, I never thought it would be possible, he worked there in Al Khobar in the 80's
So many memories, souks on Pepsi cola road, pet shop, cafe and shopping, the only things you didnt get were the dhows just down from tamimi market and the canon, so long ago, the worlds changed.
so nice to be back even in the memory again,this was the years that i was working in dammam,we used to spend our day offs during fridays in the city of al khobar,although our accommodations was in between dammam and al khobar...thank you very much for sharing us this video of yours,letting us travel back again to time....our sincerest gratitude sir....
