From one fan to another I totally see what you see and agree. The combination makes for a winning combination and if you will I would borrow from and old adage that Dynamite comes in small packages!
Al is the only old legendary actor who does not have an air of arrogance or grumpiness to him. Just a very humble and likeable person despite being a god to a lot of people.
+Zenzi Sage Yes and he is very private and shy. This is the first interview I've seen him so jovial. he's my fav. Booby Denerio second. They say Bobby has him on the humorous roles but he's pretty darn funny here.
So funny to listen to Al tell stories. He goes in every direction at the same time. But his charm really comes from his shyness, his simplicity and his spontaneity, which is also why he is such a good actor. Love him...!
Yes he does, it comes from theater. He still does a lot of theater, actors who don't have theater background mostly face the interviewer or look into the camera while speaking.
It's almost impossible not to love this man! There's a particular sincerity and likeability in this man unsurpassed by any other actor! God bless you Al...
God I could watch this gorgeous legend all day he is such a fantastic guy, goes back to the days when actors did it for the love and passion of what they did 😊
One of the best actors ever to step foot on this earth! Hands down, movies like scarface , Serpico , the godfather trilogy , doc day afternoon , Heat , The Insider , even dAnny Collins and his Oscar winning performance in Scent of a woman , proves that he is one of the best !
Al is so adorable and humble especially for someone as respected and beloved as he is. Love listening to his stories, especially his great sense of humor.
I love the actors of the 1970s. So many all time greats and Al Pacino is one of them. I don't know how anyone couldn't like him but who cares, I like him and that's all that matters to me. Love you always Al.❤
I've come across Al in the Park one day in the 80's and told him how much we've missed him in the movies, so the story he tells could have been about that particular time. if so, I'm very glad it had a positive effect on his career and gave us so many more great performances to enjoy. But then, again I'm sure a lot of people told him that they've missed him, so I can't take a full credit. Al has always been one of my very favorite actors of all times. Let's hope he continues to give us joy on stage and screen for many years to come.
I adore him, he 's the most incredible actor and the most charming , funny, humble man in this industry I think. I hope he will stay with us during a long time again because the world needs this kind of actor but also human . I'm completely in love about this man. I don't care he's older today. Doesn't matter because in his heart , he's always young. He's full of passion and that's why I love him forever.
Hes so damn hilarious!😊😄AWESOME ,Al Pacino is so COOL!😊you get to learn so much by watching these ! From ALL these GREAT ACTORS is they JUST LOVE TELLING STORIES!😉😊
56:43 That was an absolutely pure Al Pacino moment! I kept watching it over and over about 50 times like a lunatic and kept laughing my ass off like a maniac! Pure gold! LMAO
I also have to give big kudos to the interviewer, he did a magnificent job, asked questions and let the legend answered them, wish all interviews of inspirational men such as Al could be this way. By far Pacino is within my 5 very best and favorite actors past and present of all times.
Such a down to earth guy, so funny. I can listen to him for hours!!! He doesn't look like hes 74 here, looks younger. I was watching a recent interview of him, he doesn't look like hes 81 looks like hes in his 70s. Well he never looked his age haha. He was pretty small here.
He's my all time fave. Most people laugh when I say calitos way is my favorite movie with him. I also thing it was sean Penns best role. He's unrecognizable. he still looks fantastic for 75.
By far the best actor EVER! As much as I admire the array of wonderful actor's in Hollywood and foreign, absolutely none can compare to the brilliant star that is Al Pacino! Extraordinary Man! #THEBEST
Gordon Willis' work on the Godfather was brilliant and masterful. It's great that Frances Ford Coppola had the balls to stand by this look for the film.
This is what a true story teller, and talented actor looks like. He holds a room and in the most respectful calming, inspiring, classy, entertaining way. Beddu pacino
Too this day. Whenever the godfather is on tv i watch and i own them. He makes that trilogy and always has me glued too the tv after probably 100+ times watching it. It will always be my #1 favorite movie (1&2)
In this interview at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation I find Al Pacino's personal attributes to be equally compelling s His Highest status in his stardom by virtue of his talents and likeability
The main difference Al loves people and lets us see what it’s really like. I am sure he knows he’s excellent but he doesn’t have the ego of some who don’t have his talent. He’s more than just an. actor, he’s very intelligent and interesting to listen too. In The Godfather he acted with his eyes, he just commanded the screen you had to watch him. I hope at his age we can have some more movies.
Beautiful man fantastic actor I think he is the best actor ever .🌝So modest and unaware of what an absolute legend he is I would so like to spend an hour with him and listen to him talking with is lovely voice .Just carry on Al you deserve all the admiration and respect you get 💫ChrisTxx
I watched Jessica Chastain in Eleanor Rigby and I tweeted her saying that she is the female Daniel Day Lewis. A genius. She liked my tweet. But since then she hasn't quite got the role that really shows off that talent in my opinion. Glad Pacino backs me up on my initial reaction to her.
Me too. He had something more than just mere good looks. He has an aura about him. A magnetic personality. Sex appeal comes from within and Al has always had sex appeal. Love the stories he tells. Kept me enthralled. ❤
@@helencampbell9203 I agree, even today hes still very handsome/sexy man!!! Here's an interview that came out last year I think www.ovationtv.com/watch/inside-the-actors-studio/inside-the-actors-studio-al-pacino/ Enjoy!!!
What I'd give to have one of his rings, as a cherished keepsake..he's one of those guys that's been around our whole lives...doing background movies to our lives
I have met a few greats in person and they're usually the most down-to-earth because they don't have anything else to prove that's was charming and gives him the endearing qualities and enduring I'm a say
one of my favorite actress Jennifer Love, at least for 10 years very favorite, would act great as Diane Keaton if the movie is going on to be? Does this Foundation cast movies? Thanks to Al Pacino for sharing that part of his life with us. Most likely I will write the novel based on his story (if he agree xoxox) but with happy-end-romance- Thank you indeed
