I am a mother of 3 little boys and it would save me so much time if i would not have to makes notes for myself. Is it possible to have the notes? Scott can you please review the RU-vid debater Destiny’s argument for pro choice? He’s one of the most staunch defenders online for abortion and Trent Horn has debated him already!

Scott, you’ve missed the most important fundamental reason why the artificial creation of human life should never be permitted in the first place. From a pro-life, Catholic perspective, the belief that the creation of human life is reserved for God alone is derived from a combination of biblical teachings and Catholic theology. While there may not be a specific verse that explicitly states, "We have no right to create human life," the Catholic Church teaches that human life is a sacred gift from God and that human beings are called to respect and protect that gift. Here are some scriptural references and theological principles that form the basis of this perspective: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." This verse emphasizes that human beings are created in the image and likeness of God, implying that the act of creation is a divine prerogative. (Genesis 1:27) "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." This passage highlights the belief that God is intimately involved in the creation of each individual human life, including life within the womb. (Psalm 139:13-16) "The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." This verse emphasizes that God is the source of life and that human life is sustained by His breath. (Job 33:4) "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." This verse suggests that God has a plan and purpose for each individual's life even before their physical formation in the womb, reinforcing the belief in the sacredness of human life from conception. (Jeremiah 1:5) "You shall not murder." This commandment underscores the inherent value and dignity of human life and prohibits the intentional killing of innocent human beings. (Exodus 20:13) "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him." This verse acknowledges that children are a gift from God, further highlighting the belief that the creation of human life is ultimately in God's hands. (Psalm 127:3) "Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture." This verse emphasizes that human beings belong to God as His creation, highlighting His role as the ultimate creator and source of life. (Psalm 100:3) "Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' Does your work say, 'The potter has no hands'?" This passage depicts humans as clay in the hands of the divine potter, reminding us that our existence and purpose are ultimately determined by God. (Isaiah 45:9) "And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else." This verse acknowledges that God is self-sufficient and the giver of life to all humanity, highlighting His sovereignty over the creation and sustaining of life. (Acts 17:25) "As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things." This verse acknowledges the mystery and complexity of human life formation, reinforcing the belief that the intricacies of creation are beyond human comprehension and control. (Ecclesiastes 11:5) These passages, when considered within the broader context of biblical teachings, contribute to the understanding that God is the ultimate creator and sustainer of life and that human beings should acknowledge and respect His role in the gift of human existence. They emphasize the belief that human life is a divine gift that should be respected and protected. This perspective informs the Catholic Church's opposition to practices such as abortion, human cloning, and certain forms of assisted reproductive technologies that involve the manipulation or destruction of human life. The Catholic Church teaches that human life is sacred and inviolable from conception until natural death. This principle is based on the belief that every human being is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth. Catholics believe that human beings have the responsibility to be good stewards of the gifts and resources that God has entrusted to them, including the gift of life. This implies that humans should not abuse or manipulate the gift of life for their own purposes.
