Our last trip took us to the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, California. This video is compiled with drone footage, time lapses, Land Cruiser off-road compilations and stills. Alabama Hills has a long movie making history with dozens of movies and features unusual rock formations with an amazing view of the Sierra Nevada in California. The highlight of this video is a drone fly through the Mobius Arch.

Cmon - it's a bit more than 3 hrs and an easy drive up the 395. Running 35s on a 2.5" lift.

@@SkyrockExpeditions I just have a regular tacoma 2 wheel drive there are some options for riving on dirt but not like that don't like getting stuck sooner or later how are the roads out in the desert out there nice and hard like over in randsburg

@@SkyrockExpeditions cool gotta get a bed roll to sleep in the back of my truck (camp out) and a metal detector (prospecting) my tacoma sr is still under warranty and it's raised up half way decent (2016) model I put it in sport mode and it drives like a stick and the (lsd) (Limited Slip Differential) one wheel slips starts slipping the other starts turning so I would be fine not to sandy like the dale yes (dale mining district) ever go out there off the 62 out by 29 palms Ca

greedy gringo prospecting Sounds good. Alabama Hills is very scenic and definitely worth exploring including overnight camping. The Old Dale area is different and definitely requires 4x4 at certain places. But it is also a very beautiful area and one of my favorite places to go exploring.
