This is a customer that comes in to my work. I never knew she was a huge star, she never mentioned it. You never would have known. She is so nice, patient, easy to talk to and get along with. Very humble and down to earth. She is just as wonderful in person as she is at singing and writing music. ❤

Some people think that's spit coming from her mouth. But if you look closer, you will clearly see its more the combination of soul, funk, blues and rock n roll in kickass liquid form.

The Grammys have been a joke lately, but it is nice when the get it right and recognize real talent and give acknowledgement to artists we wouldn't normally hear about. Listening to the album Sound and Color now. I'm a R&B and Hip Hop guy but they are pretty addictive. Love their energy

So beautiful. This song has been in my "you do you and they come to you" playlist for almost a decade. Words can't encapsulate what is being said. I can't believe that song is only 4 min long. It's just amazing. It could go on for an hour and I wouldn't be able to get enough. There's just no reason for anyone to live their life and have this song in their heart, and yet here we are.

The great thing about Alabama Shakes is that none of them look like rock stars, which means it’s the music that matters. Drink this group in because this will be one of those “remember when” artists who redefine a musical generation. On a softer note....why is the bassist so dam chill?!
