Alagi MBye - one of the finest kora masters of the Gambia - and swedish jazz pianist Arne Forsén har played together since 2005 and the result is a beautiful and unique mix of west african music and jazz improvisation.
This recording is from a concert in Gothenburg in the end of a two months tour in Sweden and Finland in fall 2017.
The song "Madina" is one of MBye´s own composition and is a story about what can happen to a travelling Jali, when evrything goes wrong...
