Alain - we lost Keith today 7-8-20. He is finally at peace so that provides some solace for us all. I want you to know how much joy this brought to Keith and his friends. I will forever cherish this song and this version. Can barely type as tears drop on to the phone but it is providing some comfort. Thank you. Much ❤️

Thank you so much for so many memories of riding the bus to school/work as a teenage with this playing over and over while listening to Your Arsenal and Beethoven Was Deaf. I also remember back then, looking at the album sleeve, thinking how M and members of the band would never know how many times it was played - or what it meant to us. Other than a chance meeting outside a show, the band would never be accessible to fans. Now look at us in the future.... able to share those thoughts directly to you. I'm rambling but again, thank you.

I love Ronson's production on the album recording of this, Alain, but hearing your acoustic version of this, my favourite Morrissey song, made me think of I Know it's Over, my favourite Smiths song. To my non-musician's ears, the meeting of song and lyrics on this is the equal of anything Morrissey and Marr did. Beautiful, and also, I think, Morrissey's most political song.

Totally awesome! Hands down my Favorite Morrissey song. I was always curious as to how the background track for the song well what was it lol? Is it a song played backwards? Either way the words and production of the song was amazing! Got me through my young years growing up in Michigan.
