My favorite era of the band was when Alain played with Morrissey. I was so surprised and happy to see Alain play with Morrissey this September in Las Vegas. The band sounded noticeably better with Alain playing . Hope Alain does future gigs.

I saw Morrissey in last night in Las Vegas (last night of his residency) and Alain was one of the guitarists on stage. I was so far away I couldn’t be sure it was him. Needless to say, I cheered when the band members were announced.

The whole "Your Arsenal" album was one of my main companies when I moved to Europe in the winter of 1994. This very song was one of the most melancholic ones - which was a blessing but also a curse for a fresh emigree back then 🤣 Anyway, beautiful rendition!

6 out of 5 stars! I used to live in L.A. during these times (90-95). Morrissey was king! Absolutely unstoppable. Why? His writing was untouchable in addition to he's beautiful band that he had. Not only talented, but I think had an image that Morrissey was in love with, which was handsome and talented. Perfect match. For those that know just knew this is being the truth of solo Morrissey. When it is good, it was good. As a 48 year young Spanish male after getting my hair cut I look into the barber's mirror hoping that I look similar to these years. I very rarely walk away satisfied, but that image is very strong and I come back the following month for another try... Alain - cheers and thank you for remembering. The many of us have not forgotten and have no plans to do so.....

Hard to believe it was almost 30 years ago that my now ex-husband introduced me to The Smiths / Morrissey... I am so ever grateful to have had these melodies, lyrics, walk with me through some really difficult times in my life. They've brought me such joy and comfort. I also remember holding my daughter who was an infant then, slowly dancing her to sleep to these slower melancholic ones. Such sweet memories! They can bring me right back to the 90's like a time machine and I get lost in my head when I play them. Hard to believe we're all so much older now....But I should get to the point... thank you Alain... your songs have been soothing to my soul and I never forget a lyric it seems, even a song I haven't heard in years. Seeing Morrissey in Las Vegas last week brought up feelings that have been paired with certain songs for ages and stirred such happiness in my soul. I miss the old songs like this one... I could sit at your feet for days just to listen to this one over and over. Really beautiful... Thank you for sharing your talent with us all... such a gift! Misty~
