They realized OU takes advantage of mismatches on man coverage so they had one of their safeties act as a spy against the receiving core. @kennypowers1945 Doubt the oline that played last night will be playing next season. It was all backups as the entire oline either transferred or opted out. First start for the freshman with a brand new OC and they still put up over 500 yards. This team will be ok next year for sure.

if gabriel played i dont think it would have been a close game at all. Ou would have dominated and they were before jackson bailed them out with the pick 6. But i think he is gonna be a monster Qb with more reps. 550 yards vs 380. 6 turnovers should have been a blowout for arizona.

@@mvskokee918 - you just don't know. You can't say that the game would have stayed the same except for the turnovers (2 were fumbles by WRs), it doesn't work that way logically. Who knows what would have happened. I do know this Arizona team lost to Washington by only 7 in the Freshman's first game, then in 3 OT at USC in his 2nd game then now won 7 straight including 4 ranked teams (when they played). I could say of course with Garbriel they should be better than a Freshman QB, no doubt but you can't say with him all the good in tonight's game stays and all the bad goes away. One change in one play, changes the whole game, every play moving forward.

Sec is overrated. OU will win 9 to 11 games a year. Big12 parity is tougher.

The 2 fumbles by Farooq were the result of a perfect ball punch on the first one, and a helmet on the ball on the second. The stunt that forced an Oklahoma fumble in the 4th is just good defensive play calling.

Arizona and Utah have some big shoes to fill with Oklahoma and Texas moving on.. Kansas State and Oklahoma State are pretty tough...it will be interesting no doubt..

Yep, all bowl games used to be a finalizing of the teams current season, but with opt-outs and more importantly the transfer portal, most bowl games are a preview of their next season. Lots of kids sliding into starting roles for basically an audition to get a leg up on competition for the next new season. I don’t mind it but I bet Vegas hates it lol
