Future Safety for the Eagles. What a steal. The 24th best rated talent in the #NFL draft class for 2024. Howie rosemary does it again in the 2nd round. What a draft. Let's goo DC Vic Fangio must be ecstatic. Go Birds! #Eagles
He is not Charles Woodson bro that’s a HOF player. This guy looks to have promise but Woodson was a generational talent. For dejean, anyone know his stats (height weight), not sure he can match up by himself outside on CB but he looks to have a lot of ball instinct. Definitely would be a good special teamer but maybe safety that can cover and come down to the box? LB? Maybe weak side, definitely could cover pass but can he set a hard edge and he stout against a pulling guard on a run? He looks real good, quick, smart. Good luck to him
The zone coverage stuff is great. But at 4:25 you see what makes him special. Rare to see a corner do that to a pulling guard. Teams play with 5 DBs or more a lot of the time there’s no way he’s not on the field early.
As a Buckeye, he reminds me a bit of Malcolm Jenkins when he was at tOSU. Similar physical build with weight and height. Physical at the line when hands on, great eyes and understanding of how route concepts unfold in front of him when in spot drop zones, then driving on the ball in the air. Not elite acceleration or hips, but he can line up all over depending on the matchup - nickel, safety, dime backer some outside corner, etc etc.
question... what top 5 corner in this years draft would you take cooper dejean over? hes mainly a cover 3 player and a 3 invert player. i wouldnt feel comfortable putting him on an island by himself against pro bowl number 1's at wr. when drafting a first round player you want him to become one of the best if not the best player on your defense. i think he will be great at Saftey in the NFL exceptional at locating the ball and good return ability with decent feet.
Mannnn u the only person watch ball & not highlights dude suck at CB but he fast tho not gone lie & can return kicks & attack the ball but he is not a Top Corner back dude get cooked at CB #1 only reason the hype is because he’s white playing CB tbh he gone have to switch positions or become jus a special teams player / return man
@@DerekwhodatCarr111 So many mediocre black athletes get the nod over white ones. They get the edge in the draft then they get time to develop. You have to be a standout stud if you're white. It's a racist league, it's a lot more black than it should be. That's not on anyone's radar though.
God I hope Eagles finally Draft a corner with their first pick. DeJean is a difference maker probably will be the best corner in the league within his first two years
@bgstv10001 You are absolutely correct. How could I? Probably the closest thing to what we thought we were getting when we signed E.T. a few years back. This secondary could be crazy with this young man
@ricardorivera7549 You're a clown looking for a reaction. How about because they are both explosive and can play different positions, almost the same height, and I can keep going, but I don't want to waste more time with you.
Played against him once in highschool when he was a freshman/sophomore and i could tell he was going to be different. Happy to see ppl from our small farming communities make it big. Tj hockenson is also from my area LOL
Never heard of him until now, but dude can ball tbh. Ever year has one of these all around players. This dude might be fun at the next level. CB, return man, kickoff. If dude was a RB he would be Christian McCaffrey. Falcons could use this guy for returns and DB work for sure. 3rd-4th round diamond.
@@always.entertaining.people1396 so I thought my favorite receiver I thought would be around today, went to the jets what u thinking for today Malachi Corley from West Kentucky he's a dog Aaron Rodgers is gonna love throwing to him shoulda knew he'd be gone Howie Roseman for president 2028 the way he running this team I'm sure he could run this country
Born February 9, 2003. Played high school football for the OABCIG Falcons (IA). Played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Drafted #40 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles. Who knows? Maybe he can help revive the Gang Green Defense.
He plays the zone like Richard Sherman used to do it. Lines up adjacent to the line of scrimmage and keeps his eyes on the QB while side stepping and running when he absolutely needs to but can use his quickness to jump the route too. Not to mention plays like a WR and attacks the ball. Hope the niners move up the second round to get this guy
