I love how David says that with some kind of a very soft voice with quite a sad tone, how he really IS into Snape's story... As we all are. Love it. Love Alan.
Watching this again, I'm reminded of the deleted scene from "H-B.P.", which they only show on a dvd or ABC Family for some reason. It's near the end, right before Harry & Dumbledore return to the castle from the cave. An ominous feeling stretches out over the grounds, which you can clearly see on everyone's face, including Snape's. I mean, like, I already knew what was coming, because I read the book. But...gosh, the poor man...the expression he was making, it looked like he wanted to throw up.
He's right. This little tidbit did wonders for setting up the somber tone of the last film. Not only did it work w/in the story's context itself, meaning all the death & destruction, but it's also a way of reminding us that it's really a final goodbye to all the characters we've known & loved for the past 10yrs. I watched it recently on ABC Family w/ my mom, & I asked her what she thought Snape was thinking in that shot. She replied, "What have I gotten myself into? What the f*** have I done? Will I survive this, or won't I?"
I wish they had included that in the movie. Although I'm glad it was filmed and shown so we could see it. May I ask where I may find this? Is it on the Blue Ray disk?
